Rated 4 out of 5 by Can't beat the price! I needed a new food processor because the safety lock on my Cuisinart broke. I was hesitant to purchase this one, but am very happy with it so far. Depending on your needs and if you do not require a ton of bells and whistles, it's great. As other reviews have said, it is a little noisier than what I was used to. However, it is very simple to use. I absolutely love the snap & lock feature and its wide feed tube. I also keep it right on the counter for handy use. The price was perfect for me and for what I use it for. July 27, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great features - Easy to use I absolutely love this processor. Prior to this one I used a Wolfgang Puck for over 6 years and loved it but the plastic clip broke and was not repairable. I searched a long while before deciding on this one and chose it because of the size and Stack & Snap feature. I love that the blade snaps in and does not fall out while pouring or scraping food out. I see some have complained about it not fully shredding certain foods but have not experienced that yet. I also do not have a problem reaching all areas to wash and dry. I'm not a heavy user so don't know how well it holds up. The only thing that I wish this had that some other processors have is a blending blade for stuff such as cake batter, gravies, mixing liquids...I really miss that feature. All in all I am very happy with this product. If you are one to need smaller items chopped then you might consider going with a smaller capacity processor. I also agree that this item is unusually tall and will not fit on the counter top under the cabinets so It's very limiting as to where to put it. It's not easy for me to get down in my lower cabinets so I have to leave it out. December 1, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does the Job This is the first food processor that I have had that slices food fairly well. A food processor is never going to be as good as a slicer, but this Hamilton Beach 12 cup Stack and Snap does well. I also find it chops nicely, even on smaller amounts. Because of the size, I did not expect it to work well on things like a single onion. I also like the ease of use and that the shredding blade snaps in place and does not fall out when pouring. On the down side, it is too tall. When placed on a standard height counter top (36-38 inches), the top of the food processor is at 46-48 inches. That is a bit tall for a lot of us and makes it inconvenient to just pop open the lid to scrape down the sides or add more ingredients. The other issue I have is that the Stack and Snap is hard to wash and impossible to dry. I do not put this type of appliance in the dishwasher; I prefer to wash it out right after I finish using it. This processor has many places for small bits to get stuck. Some parts cannot be reached to dry, leaving (permanent) water spots. All that being said, I am glad I bought this item. Overall, I am happy with it. July 14, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very Pleased I was very pleased with this processor for what I need it for. I just made my version of a gazpacho drink. I found it processed my veggies very evenly to a mince that I like with out turning them to mush. (celery, green pepper, green onions and garlic). It also held my liquids very well (tomato juice) and did not leak out anywhere which my old one did. I am in love with the pour spout and found everything to clean up very well. I had no problems at all. Salsa will be a breeze. I will admit it's loud (my cat's not pleased) but not on pulse which I use the most. I also loved that the suction cup feet adhered very nicely to my counter and I can stow away the electric cord which has a nice length to it. December 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Modern, sleek A wonderful food processor! my last one was a dinosaur, weighing a ton, and impossible to clean. I love the sleek modern design and the easy cleanup. I am a baker and and am always using this machine for various things, It is well worth it! February 11, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Leaves chunks of food on top of the shredder I wish that I was in love with this food processor. It leaves chunks of food in the cup even after you have chopped it and chunks of food on top of the blade after you have shredded say some cheese or an onion etc,,,,,, It doesn't compare to my Wolfgang Puck food processor that I had at all. I was hoping it did. But hey, you win some and then you lose some. However, this was a great price and it will save me some time this year during the holiday season. November 16, 2015
