Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is the lightest and most comfortable shoe. Its like walking on air! I have worn these Princess Classic Womens Shoes for over eigteen years. Every year I purchase a new pair. Size 7 1/2 Wide in white. They are the lightest and most comfortable tenner shoe I have ever worn and I repeatedly keep purchasing them. I like the arch support in them that strengthens my arches and the roundness of them that when I walk it goes with my natural arch and makes walking in them easy and switft. When they first came out, I purchased them for my aeorbics class and liked the style and look but then used them for walking and running. I call them a three season tenner shoe where they can be worn spring, summer and fall. I liked them so much that I purchased them for my elderly mother Polly every year in a size eight. She wore them until she was 96 and when the respites would help put them on, they were easy to do. I would highly recommend these wonderful shoes to everybody. I won't stop wearing them and I hope they never go out o from the manufacturer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from sizing has changed, very tight I've been wearing Reebok Princess tennis shoes for years, but I wasn't able to find a new pair in local stores, so I ordered these online in the same size I've always worn (8.5), and they are way too tight. All of my other shoes are an 8 or 8.5, and I've never had to stretch or break a pair in. I'm going to have to return these and see if a size 9 fits, but I may have to switch brands.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the quality shoe it used to be My mother--an active senior with minor foot issues--has worn this shoe for years. The fit and construction have been predictably great and the mid-range price was worth it for a quality leather shoe. I bought her a new pair in black for Christmas, but she didn't have occasion to try them on until recently. What a disappointment! The "updated" version is too long and too narrow--not a true wide at all. The formerly slipper-comfortable shoes were painful and fit poorly like those from a discount retailer. But the worst part was that when I ordered them, the shoes were described as being leather [since revised]. Even JCPenney didn't know then that Reebok had substituted a cheaper, inferior material, as well as substantially changing the fit. It appears that Reebok cut corners on every feature of this nice, reliable shoe to save on manufacturing costs yet continued to price it as if it were the same product. I would avoid this shoe if you've worn it before. You won't get the fit you were used to--the synthetic upper doesn't flex or breathe like leather--plus, you're paying way too much for a low-end plastic shoe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They Work I needed to get a pair of all white, leather shoes for my job/school program. They needed to be really comfortable since I'll be on my feet a lot. I was drawn to these because they are a great value, and very clean and cute looking. They are just as clean/cute looking in person and practical shoes. My only complaint is that they are pretty tight. Im a size 6. I had to squeeze my foot into them and they felt tight for a little while. But i wore them around the house to stretch them out a bit and that helped a lot. So maybe they just need to be broken into. Definately do not tie the shoelace all the way to the first hole, or it will feel too tight at top. Also, I'm not crazy about the comfort, its just ok. They feel very stirdy, but almost a little too structured. The bottom of the shoe (inside, where the pad of your feet will be) feels so flat. There is no curve in the sole so it feels very hard and flat. I'm keeping them because they are cute and good value and the more I wear them the better they seem to feel.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice simple style, sole is not bulky, no seams in the toe area. However, it is no longer soft leather and is very narrow and uncomfortable. I have worn this shoe for many years as it is the only atheletic shoe I could find without uncomfortable seams in the toe area. It also comes in wide. The sole is not heavy and bulky and the shoe has always fit with absolute comfort right out of the box. Now the shoe has changed. It is no longer the soft leather advertised. Now it is vinyl. The wide width is very tight and the shoe is shorter. I tried a half size larger and then a whole size larger. It made no difference. It is now a narrow shoe. Not only that, the toe box is lower. My toes rubbed on the top of the shoe causing sore spots on the tops of the toes. What happened? This was a perfect shoe! I cannot wear it anymore. So disappointing. Penney's was great in taking them back, but I did not want to take them back. I wanted to wear my dependable old favorites ! What has gone wrong here?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but skinny These are great looking, very comfortable, affordable, but they run very skinny on the foot. I have never had to wear a "wide" shoe but these do run small. Still, I will keep buying them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Walking Shoe As a senior women who needs support for walking this Reebok® Princess Classic Women's Shoes was just the right fit. The sole makes my steps easy without a rough ridged surface found on many exercise shoes. The arch support interior is firm to keep my foot from turning. This feature is very important to me after several falls. The shoe looks smart and allows me to wear my Reebok's for everyday events. The priced for this shoe is better than other retailers in my area. I'm a customer who has had a J C Penney's credit card for many year and appreciate the value of shopping at your store. Thank you J.C. Penney! Nancy Wright

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Reebox changed the Princess Shoes Not Real Leather I am deeply disappointed that Reebox changed what was once the best women's comfortable and stylish shoe. I have been wearing Reebox Princess Classics for over 25 years. Those shoes felt like butter on my feet. This new version feels like cardboard. The soles no longer have the built in arch and the shoes is now of man-made material so it no longer breathes. It is a huge disappointment. I hope they return to their original design. I would gladly support them then. But I cannot do so now.

Answer:
Although my feet are not really wide i bought the wide to get that little bit of extra width for the comfort if i wear a thick pair of socks and they worked out perfect for me. I use the shoes as a work shoe and I'm on my feet a lot at work..

Answer:
I have worn these shoes for a lot of years and frequently throw them in with my colored clothes in the washing machine. They wash beautifully, dry in about two days and it doesn't seem to affect the of them at all. I usually get about two years wear out of a pair.

I would think they resist water because they are leather but are not water proof.
