Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome shoe! Laces not so I worn for about two weeks and they are great. The only problem so far is the laces are separateting. The woven part is coming off white cord lace part. I've sent Hi tech a message, hopefully the will ship me a pair of laces. Now as for the insoles they are not the greatest, real flimsy but these are the lower end price shoes so you shouldn't expect top of the line insoles. I replaced them with a pair of Pro Foot insole that cost 10 bucks ( see picture of side by side. But overal this is a pretty good shoe. I'm a U S Postal working and my route is mostly rural. They have worked out perfect for the price so far. I'll come back in six months and let you know how they hold up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable This is my second pair. I work outside and found the shoe to be durable and comfortable under most conditions. The first pair lasted over on year. The toe finally separated from the sole.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Premature Failure Barely over a year old and upper side leather has a 1-1/2 inch hole. These shoes are used for light duty, work(office) and around the house. I won't buy HI-TEC again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far...so GREAT! 3rd day wearing this shoe....I was first a little worried about it's weight....it isn't as lite a shoe that I would normally pick out...the the stability is awesome and the wide width is the ticket for my foot. "Water proof" boots can be warm and sweaty...not this one....very, very comfortable. Hiking in northern Florida in early September.....90+ degrees and 90% humidity....no problems.....I'm really liking this shoe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wide foot fit. I was disappointed when they discontinued the Montana (wide), tried some other wide shoes, but they simply didn't hold up for long. This is my every day shoe and my 10-2E feet can depend on getting a fit with Hi-Tec wide width. I've always found their shoes to be incredibly durable and I have Hi-Tecs for day-hiking and backpacking, too. Thinking about buying another pair of these to keep, in waiting, for the three or 4 years from now when these wear out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two years and going strong I bought a pair of these about two years ago. I was 61 with plantar fasciitis in my left foot. After a few days the pain was gone and has stayed away. I work in a retail store, and am on my feet most of the day, walking back and forth. Two days ago I had to wade through water that came up to the top of my shoes, yet my socks stayed dry! I will say that the shoes are rather stiff and heavy, but that is a small trade-off for the support and relief they give me. My feet measure out to a size 11, but in this shoe a 12 fits perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I have been purchasing foot ware from Hi-Tec for a while and have never been disappointed. This is my first low cut purchase and I am very pleased. Good fit, quality workmanship, very good price, fast delivery. A year or so ago I returned a pair of hiking boots due to a fit issue. The return/exchange was painless and quick. This may be my last purchase. The shoes/boots wear so well that they will probably outlast me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit I have purchased Hi-Tec shoes for several years now for both the consistently good fit as well as the quality build. The Bandera is no different in this respect. In a rural area in central California, I wear Hi-Tec exclusively. Even when in town. They support my feet (74 years old) and provide me with good stability. I recommend.

Women's sizes are approximately two sizes larger than men's sizing.

As a result, a size 7 1/2 men's shoe would be equivalent to a women's size 9 1/2.
