What does ground sleeve look like? How do u stop it from spinning?

Asked by: Champ
Hi Champ. The ground sleeve looks like an oversized tent stake that has been hollowed out and capped. It presses into the concrete you'd use when setting up the dryer. The concrete secures it, while the stake lets the dryer itself be removed during bad weather or over winter. All of the parallel dryers spin intentionally, so that the lines can be reached without needing to walk all the way around the dryer. It spins from the top, where the upper structure attaches to the top pole. If you prefer to nix the spin, you can try to stake the the arms in place (attach a line from the outside of the frame to the ground) or wedge something into the top attachment to stop the spin (NOT the area that slides up and down to open and close the dryer). Alternately, look for an umbrella style of dryer (looks like and inverted umbrella); our Household Essentials Umbrella's don't spin. Good luck!
