by DSaa Beautiful Rings - Great Price
This set of rings is gorgeous and a great value for the price! I'm not one for big flashy rings so the size of this is just right. The diamond is raised from the band so that it stands out just enough, but not to overwhelm the band. The detail inside with the blue stone is beautiful. Some of the reviews are correct when they indicate that it looks dull, once I wash my hands the shine comes back. Just take it off when applying lotion. Definitely a great set for someone who wants a little bling!

Rated 2 out of 5 by unhappycustomer Broke for the second time in three years.
The diamond in this ring became loose after about a year and so we had the prongs rebuild with white gold in addition to the platinaire original prongs. Then yesterday after having the ring for just over three years another prong broke on the platinaire portion when changing the clothes on our 18 month old and the diamond fell out!!! It took us a long time to find the diamond, but we finally did. I would not recommend this product. The stress of looking down to see the main diamond completely missing from the ring comes close to overpowering the joy we found in the ring altogether. NOT IMPRESSED!

My fiance proposed to me with this ring. I was very shocked! This ring is beautiful and sparkles! I'm not one for huge diamond rings, I'm a simple person, and this ring is absolutely perfect. I've gotten so many complements on it. And this is a beautiful ring on a budget. I just cant say enough how pretty it is! I just cant stop looking at it!

Such a beautiful and unique set! And for an incredible price. Everyone who sees the solitaire ring raves over it. It is a perfect size for someone, like me, who is not into huge, hard to wear rings. But it is not small either.

My wonderful husband and I selected this bridal set in January of 2012, which means I have been wearing it for a year and a half now. The cost has dropped quite a bit since then, which goes to prove it's not a good product. Here's my little story.
The engagement ring looked beautiful the day he (officially) proposed, and we were wed a few days later. I was very careful with it. Removed it when washing my hands, cleaning the house or taking a shower. Did my best not to expose it to anything that might scratch it. Due to its 'Platinaire' material, I was not expecting much as far as durability goes. However, within three weeks, the finish on the ring came off. A week or two later, a sizeable gap completely separated the rings where they had been re-sized. JCPenney labeled the set as a lemon and issued a replacement. You can imagine my upset at realizing my original bridal set was gone within two months of getting married. I was quite attached to those rings...
After waiting a few weeks for my new set to be resized (they only come in one size from the store), I received the replacement and took even greater care of it. Again, within three weeks, the shiny finish disappeared and the rings - including the little diamonds - looked utterly filthy. I lasted three months before I couldn't stand it anymore and brought the set back to the store to get it re-finished (thank goodness he purchased the lifetime care plan!). Three weeks later, the rings arrived looking new again. Three weeks after that, they were back to looking like junk. Since I haven't wanted to be without my wedding rings for another few weeks while they're being re-plated yet again, I've lived with this dull, filthy set for nearly a year. Now that we've saved up a bit, we'll be returning this set to the store for a full refund and going somewhere else to purchase a replacement set. The rings on my finger right now don't look half as good as a CZ set.
I love JCPenney. However, steer clear of this "Platinaire" material when it's on a ring you wear every day. It only looks good for a short while. If you're on a tight budget, like we were, be sure to purchase the lifetime care plan. You'll need it.
