Rated 4 out of 5 by Railsgirl Product was nice
However, i did return it. Color was "soft grey"; it was definitely brown.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lakelover The shades are better than I had hoped for!
The shade color was described as light chocolate but, in fact they are a blend of two colors giving them a richer more textured appearance than I expected. They roll easily and add a modern touch to our remodeled bedroom. They aren't as room darkening as I would have liked since that was one of the features I was shopping for, but seem to be meeting our needs. We had a bit of a challenge installing them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Blinded Easy to install
Not very happy with the look of these shades. I failed to read the the other reviews. I have bought from JC Penny before and have always been happy. This material looks almost like a burlap!! In the picture it is a little more dressy looking. Says the color is soft gray. More rouget gray. Very disappointed and now stuck with them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by zumbamama great shade for a great price
Ordered this for my son's bedroom and have since purchased 3 more. The shade looks excellent and really does block out the light even though it isnt a super dark color. Very Pleased

Rated 4 out of 5 by hatetoshop22 the color was a good blend to pull the grays of the room together
Like the material and color, but do not think it is great as a blackout blind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BarbMu Poor quality, cheaply made, impossibly difficult to install
This was ordered for my bathroom. My husband has hung various shades for years, in 4 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen. Usually he has the shade up & looking great in under 15 minutes. This one was ridiculous! The bracket to hold this shade in place is cheap plastic. Two little pieces of plastic, for a shade that is to be raised and lowered at least twice a day. To attach these little pieces of plastic, my husband had to hold the shade up while I ducked underneath & placed this little piece of plastic in place & then screwed it in place. While my husband held the shade up, I dropped the little piece of plastic with the screw flying across the floor at least 4xs. I had to climb down find the screw & plastic, reinsert the screw, climb the step ladder, crawl under the shade & place the little screw with the plastic on it, into the hole & screw it into place. Looking at the shade, it looks cheap, poorly made. My husband said to make sure that I remembered the company that made this shade so that we never purchase another. Most of the shades in my home were purchased at Penney's. This is the 1st one that had to be wrestled with to hang. If I could rate this shade in a negative rating, I would.
