Custom blinds and shades
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good for the long run. I have been disappointed with these blinds. I put them up about a year ago and have had several problems. I put up 7 blinds. The valence clips are quite flimsy and I had to buy more clips from another dealer. (There aren't really enough clips provided.) Recently, a plug at the bottom rail of one blind came out leaving the cords exposed. I have not been able to find the plug and replacing it is problematic. Two blinds at the front of my house are opened and closed daily and raised and lowered at least every other day. They have jammed on several occasions. A fastening on one came loose and one side of the blind wouldn't budge. I was able to repair it but I changed it out with another window that doesn't see as much use. I am replacing the front blinds with custom-fit Bali brand from another dealer and will replace the rest as I can afford to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best place for blinds I have purchased blinds for my current house as well as my former residence at Penney's and have never been disappointed. I have 18 windows currently, and have ordered aluminum blinds for some windows, and wooden for others. They always arrive packaged securely, with all the hardware included. Size is always perfect, and instructions for measuring are on the website which is very convenient. I wouldn't order blinds from anyone else!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality, and privacy I had to return these, but we're of great quality! They were too short for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value. great quality. I bought some "ready to hang" mini blinds a my local home improvement center. when I got them home, they were not the size stated on the box. I don't know why I even bothered,. I have ordered blinds from Penny's before and they are better quality and always the size I ordered. The measuring instructions are simple and the instructions for shortening them are clear and easy to do. So I ordered my blinds from J C Penney. hey came before the estimated delivery date and were high quality and exact size. I will be ordering even more blinds for my other rooms.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it I have ordered blinds from Penney's forever. But these are bad.Only raise and lower if the blinds are open. One has already come apart. Slats will only tilt one way. They are going back as soon as the custom order from Bali get here. Too bad really, because the mocha color of the Penney's blinds I really like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from exact color We were looking for wooden looking mini blinds in a one inch slat size and these fit the bill-love them!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than the name brand blind it replaces. First we bought this size blind, as a name brand blind, from a home improvement store. The blind slats were thin and flimsy - so thin and flimsy that they fluttered in a big way when the blind was raised and then lowered. Also there was very little overlap between the slats. An outsider could look in if they looked in at an angle - not good for a bathroom. So, we went to jcpenney.com and bought this blind. MUCH BETTER ITEM. The slats are sturdier, more closely spaced, and they move smoothly when the blind is raised and lowered. Completely delighted with the JCPenney blind. This is our brand of choice going forward. (Too important not to share. This JCPenney blind is an excellent product.)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Blinds that did not worrk Sorry, but these will need to be returned. We installed them and they do not go up or down without being held. Also do not lock in place. One of the eight did not work at all. I have purchased this blind before without any problems, so perhaps a different manufacturer was used?

Answer:
Yes. Mounting is easy at top, back, or end. But this is true for all brands of venetian blinds.

Answer:
I USED A TOP MOUNT INSIDE THE WINDOW AND WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS. MY WINDOWS ARE SHALLOW, BUT, I STILL WANTED AN INSIDE MOUNT BECAUSE OF THE SMALL ROOM. I AM TALKING ABOUT INSIDE THE WINDOW FRAME. NOT ON THE CEILING. BUT YOU COULD ATTACH THEM DIRECTLY TO THE CEILING IF NEEDED.

Answer:
I am not sure what size they are but the pair I got was junk. I would never buy these again. I was so shocked of the quality coming from JC Penney but this is why I don't shop like I use to at Penney's.

Answer:
I'm sorry I can't tell you the "size" -not sure what dimension you are looking for, but I also cannot access my clips unless I take apart the valance - it was a bit tricky installing, so not anxious to mess with it!

We have a lot of mini blinds named Riviera Lightmaster (bought in 2002) and need to remove them to paint. Can you send me the instructions for temporary removal from the window?

Thanks,
