Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2" Faux-Wood Horizontal Blinds These faux- wood horizontal blinds met with my expectations. Do make sure to follow recommended measuring instructions. As my double hung windows were unable to accommodate inside mounting, I purchased blinds in excess of the overall window dimensions to cover the trim. Take note that these blinds will NOT darken your room. You will be able to see light coming in between the 2" slats. From the outside at night you will also be able to see the light between the slats. The overall construction of these blinds are consistent with ready to purchase blinds. I would strongly suggest that you purchase better screws to attach the mounting hardware as the ones provided are just okay. The only disappointment is in the optional mounting hardware (plastic and not functional). The cords, and plastic adjustments on the blinds seem like they will not withstand often adjustment. So if you need a blind to just cover your windows with minimal daily adjustment. These provide a clean and neat appearance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and high quality I purchased these for my dining room window and was on the fence about getting 2 more at the same time for my bedroom to replace the cheap vinyl blinds hanging in there now . I only ordered one since I was skeptical about how these would look since they were so inexpensive. I was pleasantly surprised! They seem to very high quality and they look absolutely beautiful. Easy to hang and they look fit perfectly. I still have to shorten them a bit and I'm going to attempt it this week but for now they're fine. I am pleased with how much light they block when closed. The slats are not small, so they look like high priced blinds. I purchased similar blinds for my daughters room from a big box home store and spent an outrageous amount on them and I honestly couldn't say these blinds would have looked much different. I will definitely purchase 2 more and possibly a 3rd and replace my bedroom and my son's. I purchase them in white and it is a crisp true white. I like that they're going to be easy to wipe down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light blocking blinds These blinds are exactly what I hoped for. The larger windows fit nicely, with only a small trimming required. The instructions were very clear how to do this, and following them, they came out perfectly. The smaller windows I ordered, I had to choose between somewhat too small (1") or much to big (3"). The first window I installed them in was fine, the second the blind fell out when raised. I called customer service and they shipped another within two days. I mounted the final one using a spacer to move the bracket over, and it was fine. I wish there had been a bit more blind to the sides but it covers ok. I didn't want to trim 3" off the sides of all of them so this is what I settled for. They are also very easy to shorten, which I have never taken the time to do with blinds before! It looks great, and I am glad I did! They are very nice high quality blinds and I would happily purchase them again. Also, I am saving the extra slats I took out in case they are ever damaged.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blinds look great, and inexpensive for the quality I bought the white faux blinds and they were great when I put them on. They exceeded my expectations as the slats really looked and felt like real wood. A great buy for less money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has great features. I LOVE these blinds! I ordered them to replace up/down cellular shades that did not perform well at all. I did not think I would use the valance included with these blinds when I ordered them; however, I decided to see how they would look when I put them up and both my husband & I LOVE the finishing touch they put on things. Curtains or not, these blinds look great, and as my sister said when she saw them, "Your rooms look so classy!" We purchased these blinds (seventeen) for our entire house, for just three hundred dollars more than only eight cellular shades cost, that I returned in less than two months. They are very easy to install and very easy to shorten to just the right length. These blinds are well worth the investment!++

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value Was a little bummed that the adjustment was a bar not a 2 string pull.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faux Wood Blinds, excellent quality and great fit on my windows Hello JCPenny, I recently purchased 5 faux wood blinds in the cream color to cover our windows that catch the brutal east morning sun. We live in the Sacramento Valley so it is extremely hot here and without the shade of these windows, which are already dual pane, our house heats up. These blinds let me control the amount of light we want till the sun goes over out house. Installation went smoothly and quickly since my husband put them up, he is a master with a cordless drill. I ordered these blinds late in the evening and they were at my door in 3 days, amazing service; I was completely shocked, so convenient. The quality is excellent and the price was great since I got them at half price and they really dress up the dining room. I have shopped at JCPenny for years. They always have sales and there products are of very good to excellent quality. I did research other companies for window coverings but found no better quality for the price. Thanks for exceeding my expectations.

is the length adjustable?

Asked by: jaym
Yes, you can shorten them to fit. The directions are included. It is easy but you need to be careful or you may have to restring. I shortened 8 blinds in about an hour.

Is the length adjustable? If so, how is that done? The blind length is 64", my window opening is 52" high.

Asked by: Catman74
my window opening is 32" wide inside. Should I go with a 34" width? Thank you.

Are the blind slats made of steel and PVC?

At the bottom of the description it states the blinds are made of PVC and steel. Is this true? Or are the blinds PVC and the steel is somewhere else as in maybe the rail? thanks
Asked by: Katie
