Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love it but it Broke within Two Months I've had this lamp for two months and was very happy with the looks and the function. One criticism is that the light switch requires standing up and bending over to use it. Also, it came with the tilt assembly tilting inward toward the wall mount instead of toward the reader position (in a chair). I was able to turn/adjust it. The next criticism is that it "broke" within a couple months. I was adjusting the position of the lamp shade (hiding the seam) when the threaded lamp shade connector (built into the bulb socket casing) cracked and broke making it impossible to hold the shade. It was made of thin plastic. The shade is suspended using a plastic "donut ring" that holds it in place. The light bulb goes in last. So, in other words, the threaded socket, that the donut ring screws into, cracked and a plastic portion of it fell out. It is not reparable and there is no other way to attach the shade. I just emailed customer service so I'll follow up with the outcome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are nice lamps I wrote a review earlier, but it didn't get posted. Must've done something wrong. In my review, I gave the dimensions. The lamp is 24 inches tall and juts out 17 inches from the wall including the shade. The shade is 7.5 inches tall, 11.5 inches diameter on top and 14 inches diameter on the bottom. The sconce is 6 inches across. I had crossed my fingers after ordering because I couldn't find dimensions anywhere. Our bed is Calif. King with a big headboard, so they look fantastic by it. These might be too big next to a smaller bed. These are really nice and the fact that they take a 3-way bulb up to 100 watts is great...makes it easier to read.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from wish they were better I purchased two of these for our bedroom. I loved the design and the price. We had only used them for two months when the switch broke off in my hand. The lamp will not turn on or off and there is no way to repair it. My only hope is that the next one will hold up better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great lamp at a good price This is an excellent quality lamp [I ended up buying another one] that I use on either side of my bed. The price was very good as I had checked around on prices for this type of lamp and they all ran twice what I paid for this one plus it is adjustable, not just up and down, but the shade can move in or out as well. Nicely finished and a breeze to install.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would recommend with caution. I liked the look of the lamp and loved the price. I use them in my bedroom. The pros are that it was easy to install. It looks like the picture. It frees up the nightstand. It has 3 way bulb capability. It's height is adjustable and it swings. The cons are the screws stripped during installation. The bulb connection frequently flickers and seems like it's not connecting and sometimes the brightest level doesn't connect (it's not the bulb). The lamp shades always look a little askew. I bought them about a year ago and just recently the plastic part that holds the lamp shade up and you screw the bulb into cracked and it became unusable. Rather than buy 2 new lamps I bought another one of the Lindens. I hope it lasts longer than a year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits perfectly in a small space I love this lamp. It fits in a narrow space in my spare bedroom where nothing else would fit. I also purchased a small table to go under it for a magazine, book whatever can be placed. The lamp was easy to install, and it was on sale which made me happier still!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent wall lamp, not exceptional This plug-in wall lamp looks great (nice oil rubbed bronze tone that complements the tan shade) and was very easy to install. The hardest part was holding it to the wall temporarily while the second person test drove it. A few complaints - for some unknown reason they put a white plastic cord cover on the last 3' of the cord which is just a waste and I need to cut off because it makes the cord stand out way more than just the black cord. The second is that the switch is located at the top of the shade which makes it very difficult to reach unless you mount the light below eye level. A switch on the wall plate or the cord would be much more user friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect knock-off of a high end retailer's wall lamps Easy to put up, you can adjust lamp to different heights, the scale of the lamps fit nicely with a queen size bed, and looks like a designer's high end wall sconce for less. The lamp shades are delicate and my first shipment was damaged, but ordered a replacement without a problem. The lamp shades are a burlap color so it goes well with any decor. Overall, incredibly pleased with the lamps

Where is the switch locatedi and is it a plug in model?

It is a plug lamp but when my husband put this up he realized it can be hard wired also. The switch is on the socket.

Does the head of this lamp tilt and/or swivel? Also, does it swing arm adjust easily?

Asked by: NoLita
Yes the head of the lamp does tilt - and the swing arm allows you to move the lamp from side to side, up and down, and does adjust easily. It was perfect for the tight space I needed it in - as a bed side lamp and I am more than happy with it.
