Rated 5 out of 5 by from very warm and cozy I have been using this comforter for about one week now, and I am very happy with my purchase. Not bulky, yet very warm - perfect for the winter. It's also very "cushy" - so much so that it has become my cat's favorite spot!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comforter is okay I was disappointed in the outside material. It feels almost like plastic. I'm sure it will repel stains, but I wanted something closer to cotton.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional -Warm Enough for Minnesota Winter While this comforter is not pretty- it is surprisingly warm. When I first opened it up it was compressed and seemed really flat. It did fluff up. It is lightweight and soft. I expected to need a second blanket but, this comforter with a micro-fiber sheet-keeps me warm even in Minnesota. When it is extra chilly-I use flannel sheets. The double/queen does fit a queen size bed. It only drapes about 4-5" over the sides-but that is standard for a comforter. However, if your partner is a blanket hog-you may want to get a king size. I purchased this on sale and considered that a very good value. This works like a 5 star but looks like a 3 star and I'm not sure if it will survive washing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps you warm I like the looks of this Bouclé Down-Alternative Comforter. It does keep you warn. I don't use a blanket with this comforter. I ordered the full/queen size for an twin XL so that it would cover both side to the floor. It fits great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Fluffy I am using the comforter as a filling for a duvet. It is fluffy enough to be comfortable to sit on and it fills the duvet quite nicely. The comforter is warm on cold nights without being too warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So soft and cozy! I wanted a new comforter for winter, but my husband didn't want anything too heavy. This is perfect! It keeps me warm, but he's not too hot. He says it feels like sleeping in a cloud. I agree. And the material is incredibly soft. I absolutely love it. We ordered the techno gray, and it's a nice medium gray color. It's not light silvery and not dark either. Very medium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I love this comforter. I don't like sleeping with heavy covers and this product fits the bill. The material feels soft to the touch and it gives me the warmth without feeling a heavy quilt is smashing me into the mattress. I live in Colorado and in winter I keep my thermostat a nightly 60 degrees. This comforter is perfect.

Is the comforter thicker than the Boucle Down-Alternative Blanket?

Asked by: Cindy
The blanket has an 18 ounce fill while the comforter has a Thermolite fill. Thermolite is a high quality synthetic that comes close to down in terms of softness. The comforter is very warm and suitable for winter. The blanket, at 18 oz fill, would be suitable for spring or fall or for locations with mild winter.

what is the thread count?

Asked by: gerry
This is micro-fiber not cotton. The texture of micro fiber is smooth-there is no weave. Some people describe the texture as slick or silky.
