by Remy330 Good value for 108" curtains
I purchased the cool white curtains in the 108" length. I'm pleased with the thickness, as I needed a lined curtain for privacy and insulation in our drafty historic home. The white is truly white; not too cold and not too warm. The back-tab feature doesn't really work with this long length, because the weight of the fabric pulls the tab over the curtain rod to the front and looks silly. So I used the rod pocket instead which looks fine. DO expect shrinking when you wash them... I had to wash just one panel because one of my kids got their Chapstick-covered fingers on it; it turned out at least 1.5" shorter (you can see the difference between the two in the photo). Overall though, I'm pleased and am actually going to be doing a cool stencil or block print on these with fabric paint, once I wash the other three panels.

Finally got them hung in my new living room. Perfect shade of Navy. Excellent light blockage against the Nevada Sun in the afternoon. Other than a light steaming to get out the creases from packaging I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I paired with lacy curtains in cool white and the effect is magical. Can't wait to get my American Flag red wall painted and complete this Red, White and Blue Patriotic room. Great job once again JCP.

by KayakDB Love these thermal curtains
We have a 12' wall with 5 windows in our living room and these curtains are the best solution. They are insulating our room from the terrible sub-zero weather we are having in Upstate NY this year. And with these panels and the rods we chose, we are able to choose where we want light. We had a traverse rod before and wanted to update that look and this has worked perfectly.

by BayWindows Great product for the price
I looked everywhere for 40" wide drapery panels...most are 52". We have bay windows and anything wider than 40" is just too much drapery material for the area.
These are very nice looking drapes that can even be dressed up by adding a valance and tie backs.
I only wish they were a little less yellow in color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by WinterEnergySaver Good for doorway.
I bought this product just recently. I got a steal on it because it was on clearance. The bottom of it opens up allowing you to put something between the outer layer and the inner layer, optional. I think this is just great or maybe there is an unlikely chance that they didn't put it all together and/or forgot to send me the other part?
However the color choices were horrid. They had 3 choices including what appeared to be a dull hospital blue, a dark hospital blue, and a tan-ish yellow. We ended up taking the 50's Jackson Tan. At the least I can say, considering its a dark room, it does brighten the room pleasantly.
We used the 40X83 version to cover up an empty doorway leading from one room to another in order to keep heat in the living space and it works marvelously. We live in a small house and I intend to use it to keep cold air from the AC in our sleeping space as well. Would recommend this product to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Whitelilly Not the right fabric for window panels
Very disappointed with this product. The color looked nice but twill is just not the right fabric to make window panels from. It's impossible to deal with it and keep it wrinkle free. First when I unpacked them I had to wash them and dry to get the wrinkles out. They came out of the washer even worse. Drier with wrinkle release program didn't help either so I ironed them. After ironing each panel for half and hour (I had to get 8) they sort of looked acceptable but I had to lay them on our bed till the curtain rods got installed. The panels just got worse again I guess because of the weight they carried on top of each other (they are quite heavy). I tried to wash and dry with wrinkle release again individually and hang them again but they are still not wrinkle free and since we close them every evening they will never be. Every time you touch it literally leaves a wrinkle somewhere. I am returning them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ToonieBee Beautiful and very well-made
I ordered these panels for my Mom's living room, which gets a lot of direct sunlight (west-facing windows); and these thermal panels are exactly what she needed to keep out the sun and heat. These panels are very well-made and I love the clean look of the "back tab" design. I ordered these in the "Vintage Blue", because my Mom loves blue and the "Vintage Blue" is a beautiful medium blue. Just to give you an idea on the width, my Mom's window is 70" Wide, and I originally ordered (2) panels however, I had to order a 3rd panel in order to create enough fullness (pleats) in the curtain. Also, the thermal backing is a "cloth" material, which is very nice (not that rubbery stuff). I would not say these are total "Blackout" drapes, but they do block out a considerable amount of sunlight when fully closed. All-in-all, both me and my Mom are very happy with these thermal panels and highly recommend them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by antKathy82 Worth the Purchase
I bought these curtains because my previous drapes were stained, and dry cleaning (which was the only way to clean them) did not do the trick to removing the stains. These curtains are machine washable, which will save me money in the long run. The colors (rustic red, Jackson tan) are true to the pictures online. They wash well, but do shrink, and the curtain shrinks more than the lining because the curtain is all cotton and the lining is a poly/cotton blend. However, when they are pressed and put on the curtain rod, they tend to return to the correct length. It takes a very hot iron and lots of spritzed water (not steam from the iron) to get the wrinkles out. It might be worth it to clean them at home, and have them pressed professionally, but it's not necessary. One of the back tabs had to be reattached because the stitches came loose in the wash (and there's LOTS of lint in the dryer).
The drapes do a nice job of blocking out the sun, but don't leave the room completely dark. So far, they have helped to keep the temperature of the room comfortable whether it is warm or cool outside.
