Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pain to set up, not worth the buy I purchased two of these double-rod systems for office windows and decorative finials to change out. Not only were the tightening screws impossible to reach without a ratchet tool, bolting them to the wall proved to be a ridiculous task and required ratcheting as well. The smaller bar for the window tiers was missing a screw-on finial (the ones that come with the double-rod system, not the decorative ones) and the decorative finals that can be swapped out with the JCP home brand were also chipped as well. We eventually got the curtains up, but will return the second set for a cheaper, easier system from another store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, difficult to use with valance The only complaint I have is that if you are using a valance with this product, you have to be really precise when trying to space it out. I actually had to use an extra valance to make it look good because the hooks that hold the rod to the wall loop into the main valance and can be seen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these curtain rods! These curtain rods are beautiful; they were everything I was looking for and finishes my room off perfectly. They were packaged so well that there was no scratching or shifting in transit. Very happy with them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basic curtain rod Nice finish on this rod, coordinates perfectly with JCPenney nickel grommets on curtains. It was easy to install, though I'm a little disappointed that it is already scratching a bit from wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install. The set is just the right addition to my living room. Beautiful contrast to my orange curtains and sheers. I LOVE this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sturdy. Was trying to cover a large window in living room and the double rod worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from don not fear do not be afraid to get this rod just because it says its a mix and match. It is better quality than others. Heavy duty, great dark bronze color and mounts great. Looks beautiful. The end finales are simple but very pretty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean look I like the simplicity of this design. The poles are sturdy and everything we needed to mount this on a very large window was included. The only downside was it seemed like they didn't provide the correct ratio of extender poles (think 2 female ends instead of a male and female). My husband had to rig it, but it worked out fine, looks great and still functions exactly as I would expect it to.

Can you screw in different ends on these rods

I have rods I bought previously, but they are too short for the windows in my new house. I would like to buy rods that have ends that are interchangeable.

When installing, the recommended drill bit for wall anchors is "18/3". Surely this is a typo? Which drill bit should be used?

Asked by: HomeImprover
Supplier confirmed that 18/3” was a typo. Recommended drill bit for wall anchors should be 3/18”.

What is the clearance for the back rod?

Because I have a blind mounted to the casing I need at least 3" clearance on the back rod.
Asked by: Debby
The clearance for the back rod is 2.5”.
