The panels are a looser-weave, like a gauze semi-sheer fabric, so they have a slight texture. The background color is off white or like an ivory. The patterned part is two overlapping colors, a tan/taupe color and a marled brown (meaning various shades of these colors in the pattern itself). I really like them. The pattern is modern, and the color is nice and lets in a lot of natural light. I have these in a dining room. they do not provide much privacy, light filtering, or energy efficiency. But for the room that I put them in, the style was more of what I was going for.
