My window size fits in the second range listed. So if its is DIY than you must be able to trim it or does a JCP consultant come to your home?
From what I can tell from the description, I believe the slats of the shade sit inside the opening and the trim wraps around the outside of the window opening. This is why there is a range of 3 3/4 inches, due to the width of the trim. Your opening would need to be at least 31" but no more than 34.75". If your opening is 34", the trim would overlap the wall by 3/4". Hope that makes sense!
