Rated 2 out of 5 by from Twisted leg seam--again! I love Levis, but every 3rd pair I buy have the "barber pole" defect; the outside leg seam twists around and ends up at the front of the leg instead of running down the side. If they've been making jeans for 150 years why can't they solve this problem?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All American Classic This heavy denim pair oozes quality. Feels like if they will last a life time. I dislike the 16.5" leg opening which is a past chapter of the 90s when pants were big as tents, but it's nothing that a tailor can't fix.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2 505 regular fit jeans-2 different fits? One pair fit, one way too tight... how's that work when 2 pair of the same size are ordered.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened to my cherished 505s...? So glad to hear it's not just me. I thought I was going mad for a minute. Thinner denim, rides much higher, though with a shorter crotch, fair less stretch.. than the pair I bought and had since cherished 3 years ago. Hope this message gets passed along with the others.. Levi's: Thanks for speaking up and advising on what to do when the jeans become not fit for use (referencing a note on the tag about donating used jeans). Though to be fair, this is not your place to chime -in. Make and even market a jean that will last your consumer 10+ years, as you had before, and they will come. The marginal cost (and mark-up) to moving to a more durable denim is not breaking anyone's bank. As a tall male, 6'7'' I often can't 'vote with my dollars', that is, there are few like products on the market. Please be a more responsible producer. That's fine. Please make an attempt to rectify this. While I may not have many options, I don't mind passing this through my social circle. Not a threat, just the responsible thing to-do. Andrew

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ordered pants and got blue cardboard I used to love Levi's, until recently when I have ordered 2 of these pairs. The first I ordered came in and after trying them on I wasn't happy cause they were like wearing cardboard. Stiff and starchy. So I ordered another pair thinking the original might have been a lemon from that batch. Nope, the next pair sucked too and was cardboard like as well. If I wanted to I could stand them in the corner by themselves they were so stiff. It's a shame, Levi's USED TO BE a good product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very thin materiel In comparison to a few pairs of the same jeans that I bought a couple of years ago, the denim is much thinner on these jeans. I suspect that the reson that Levis has come out in favor of washing their jeans less often has more to do with the quality of the jeans, rather than conservation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rolling the dice Good jeans but the sizing is always off with Levi's. I'd recommend ordering 3 pair in different sizes because the tolerance is about one to two inches. I'm not sure why after 163 years of being in business you can't have true sizing.
