Rated 5 out of 5 by jockey pouch briefs my husband loves these briefs--once he tried them he won't wear other briefs April 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Original pouch style is still the most comfortable. I find the original "Jockey Pouch" men's briefs to be more comfortable than other tighter fitting, and maybe more stylish, briefs. Expect a tiny amount of shrinkage the first time out of the dryer so, if in doubt, order a slightIy larger waist size. I was able to order them through JC Penney and pick them up at the store for no shipping charge. I'm glad that JC Penney still stocks these. March 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by just what i expected I was so happy when my package came on time and it was just what I ordered. Thanks March 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I like the center front pouch briefs best. Please keep making them for me. The Jockey Classic Pouch Briefs are my favorite. I have worn only them for years. Recently I searched the shelves of several department stores and was unable to find replacements. With the help of a nice, friendly lady in Penney's service department, we found the briefs I was looking for and she ordered them online. They were delivered to the pick-up desk a week later, slick as a whistle, to my satisfaction. February 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I'm entirely happy with Jockey Pouch Briefs I have been purchasing Jockey Pouch Briefs from J. C. Penney for years and expect to continue. Good product. Good store. February 24, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the Classic Briefs Product is not the classic brief that my husband prefers. Briefs were very high, would have been above his belly button instead of being below a standard belt line. Quality appeared to be typical for Jockey, but he returned without ever even wearing because, despite the name and characterization, they are NOT the classic design. February 2, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by New sizing My husband has worn Jockey Classic Pouch Briefs for about 50 years in size 36. We were surprised to find these in small, medium and large. We couldn't find any place to find the inches on any of the sizes. He figured a 36 would be medium, so we ordered the 3 Pk. in medium. I opened them, washed and dried them and discovered they were much too small. In checking the material that came with it, we found that a medium is 32-34. We have nothing to do with them. We will probably put them in a sack of other things going to a humane society resell shop. What a loss of money for senior citizens. August 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by My husband prefers these "pocket" briefs to others While we are very pleased for the most part, as these briefs begin to show a little wear, it is always the rubber inside the seams that becomes exposed. This has been the only complaint over 40 years my husband has worn these briefs. I have been surprised that this feature has not been improved. This style is sometimes difficult to locate. I do all the shopping for my husband November 25, 2015

Answer:
I'm over 60, 5-10, 160 lbs, waist size 34-36. Comfort is the most important thing to me in underwear. Because these briefs do shrink some after washing I wear the large. The seat and leg openings are very snug and hold everything in place. Not all men are the same size with their anatomy. Some need a larger pouch so they are not so constricted and uncomfortable. I tried the medium once, but never again!

Answer:
I am an over sixty male and wear a 34 to 36 trouser. I like form fitting briefs and buy the medium size. They are quite stretchy and do not ride up on long auto trips. I weigh about 160 lbs and am 5 foot ten in height. Hope this helps. I have worn them for years and the reviews are accurate; once they begin to fail they do so quickly but I am happy with the lifetime of the briefs.

Answer:
Yes, a 36"-38" size would be considered large in this brand of briefs. However, I am a 36" waist and these briefs are very snug on me, especially in the crotch area.

Yes, 36"-38" would be listed as large in these briefs. However, I am a 36" waist and these briefs are still very snug, overall, but especially in the crotch area.
