The color coding is a great idea to prevent x-contamination and they lock together nicely. The mats are light and not suitable for heavy carving of meats. You CANNOT use a serrated knife - I did and it grooved the surface (my bad). There is no such problem when one uses a regular carving knife. When cutting meats/fish, since the surface is flat, the juices will flow over onto the counter or where ever. Just take precautions. GREAT for cutting produce and cheeses. It's a real useful tool for light work.

These are great for small spaces. I like how thin they are compared to other cutting boards. They snap together. Take up barely any room. They are called MATS for a reason. They are very thin which is great for storage but sometimes not as great during use. I still prefer them to my old bulky plastic cutting boards. Recommend if you are low on space

I like using the red one for meat, the blue for seafood and the green for vegetables. Having them color coded really helps. Lightweight but durable.

I love that these all snap together with the little circle hole on the corners of the cutting boards. The material is very durable, and very good quality. I love these little lightweight, flexible, color coded boards!

Nice flexible cutting mats that are easy to store. Color coded so that you don't cross contaminate meats with your fruits and vegetables. Clean up is easy and cuts down on stains and messy counters.
