Rated 1 out of 5 by from After many years, no longer I've worn 527's and only 527's for longer than I can remember. Recently I finally wore through one of my favorite pair and needed to replace them. Like many other reviews I have read, I found that the fit of these jeans has completely changed. There is zero consistency from one to the next. The fit changes based upon the country they are made in... Sri Lanka, Mexico, Pakistan, Cambodia etc. Ive tried on a minimum of 10 pair over the last week and none of them fit like they used to. Sadly, I can no longer recommend these jeans and will have to find another brand that sells a low-rise bootcut jean. Goodbye Levi's.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incoret label The 527 I ordered were not labeled corectly. I ordered 30x32 but received jeans that were 34 lenght even though the label read 30x32. Shipped those back. No pair is like the other. I always have to try on a dozen or so to find some that fit just right. The light weight jeans wear out quickly. If you find a pair that fits then thy are great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality control 32"waist 34" length haha right???? Cant they read a tape measure. Both pairs are 36"length and the material is very light weight. Love my old 527s these suck. I washed them so I'm stuck with them. Poor quality control from a name I used to trust.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not as described exact same size as standard cut 517--not any smaller as described on web site someone does not know what slim means and cannot read a tape measure. was a waste of my time and money never again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Jeans are too long, small cuts in bottom hem Last time I get jeans without trying them on. They are at least an inch to two inches long, and I have other 527s in another color that fit fine. I got the 31x30 size. Also, there are small cuts in the very bottom edge of the hem, almost like a razor was applied to it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 527 Great Idea The idea of the cut is awesome. Most of the other manufacturers are cut way too long waisted, therefore, The crotch of the jean is at my knees. For some that may be fine. Levi's material is poor at best and seems to be cut weird causing twist leg.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the color These jeans are fabulous. I love the cut of the jean. Also, I like the Cole cause I been searching for this shade of blue color for awhile.

I have some 527 jeans, how do I know if there the regular 527 or the stretch 527. Is there some code I can look at on the jeans?

Asked by: rsimon
Not one of these ' answers' understood the question ;-) With your old jeans, just try stretching the material between your two hands. 'stretch' Levis have an obvious, demonstrable 'stretch' in the material (the regular jeans don't.). it doesn't matter if you old tags or markings have been lost- or even what they say, you can tell the stretch fabric in 2 seconds if you just try this ;-)

why color not there

On these slim bootcut jeans the color of the jeans the man is first wearing is not a choice you can buy. If you scroll through the colors you can see that the color he is originally wearing is not an option of one you can choose. That color of course is the one I want to purchase. Thank you Joni

I purchased two pair for my husband and also wanted the color in the picture. None of the color choices offered matched the picture. I ended up picking one I thought was similar. When I received jeans, the color was not at all what I thought I was getting. My husband was ok with the color, as he is not as fussy, so we kept them.
