Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far I love it! My platinum model started acting up after 3 years of daily use, so I had to dispose of it. I also got rid of my mini as I bought it for travel and it was too heavy and annoying to have no water tank. I like the 475's 70 oz water tank, less frequent filling. I did not have to read the manual to set it up. Easy to use. I like how simple it is to set the energy saver options to turn on and off at certain times. Good tasting coffee. Did not come with carafe and that is okay as I like fresh, hot, and a variety of coffee flavors each day. I suppose it would be nice to brew a carafe when company is over, so a nice option. I like the sandy pearl color, it is bright and cheerful looking. Just have had a few days and so far I just love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My granddaughter bought this for my birthday I received this keurig475 for my birthday, first let me say it is not my first I originally had one of the very first keyring then moved up to a two hundred series, then this wonderful machine. So far I have handed down the first two but do not see this wonderful machine leaving for a long time. Love carafe feature especially when we have company..It is so easy to keep clean and every cup is like that first cup you get from a new brewer. Their brewers are great and their customer service always seems to answer you with a smile.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water injection nozzle clogs constantly I've used both K475 & K575 brewers for nearly a year, and I have found that closing the lid too quickly causes the water injection nozzle on top to clog. This is apparent because the pumping will slow down and barely any coffee will be produced. The only solution once the nozzle clogs is to take a toothpick and carefully push/scrape the coffee grounds from the injection nozzle. I have to do this once or twice before the machine will begin pumping normally. I can avoid the clogging by closing the lid verrrrry slowly, but I sometimes forget (like first thing in the morning when I'm still sleepy), and I'm rewarded by a clogged nozzle. My fiancee never remembers, so she runs into constant clogs. She hates the clogged nozzle issue so much that she keeps her old K55 brewer on the other kitchen counter and refuses to touch the newer one. The K55 has been moved numerous times over the past several years and keeps pumping out the coffee. The K575 has lived a life of luxury, sitting in one spot for the entire year. The K475 lives at my son's place. The K55 works great, but both the K475 and K575 clog constantly, requiring the "toothpick" cleaning to operate properly. I won't buy another "2.0" Keurig machine. Go with the K55 and forget about the fancy stuff. It isn't worth the hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive Multi Functional Machine I had super high hopes for the Keurig K475 and I was not disappointed by any means! First off, my household differs on the use of this machine. My husband prefers coffee, whereas I prefer teas & soups and my teenaged son prefers hot cocoa. The K475 is extremely easy to use and set up, and the function to change the ounces to the specified need is wonderful. Besides the warm drinks, you can also take the teas and turn them cold by putting ice in a cup prior to brewing. Also noted, that the machine is great to make soups and heats up water considerably quickly which is a SCORE! Another great feature of this machine is the fact that the digital menu is simplistic, you're able to change the look of the menu's settings and backdrop (kinda cool), You can also lift the lid and drop it back down so that the Keurig will self clean! Amazing and simple, in all, this machine has allowed me to save a lot of time I would normally have to take to 1) brew coffee and/or 2) clean a coffee pot!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So Loud Why the change to 2.0? I thought creating upgraded models is supposed to be that....an upgrade. Unfortunately, besides having the nice color touch display and ability to make larger amounts of coffee, this machine is a downgrade in performance. I had the K75 Platinum series model and LOVED IT. Unfortunately the best coffee maker of my life broke, and because this model is discontinued, I had to purchase a new machine. The K475 had the most similar features to my K75. The new K475 is SO LOUD! It makes an annoying loud churning and "dak dak dak" kind of noise when dispensing water (this sound was non-existent in the classic series models), it takes longer to dispense water and heat up in between each job, and the water isn't as hot, even though it is set to the highest temperature. In addition, the temperature level displays as low to highest instead of the actual degree (my K75 showed the actual temperature level) so I don't know what the actual temperature is. Why change a good thing you had with the K75 series. I hate when companies made a great product and change things to make them worse. BRING BACK THE K75 PLEASE!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a "Good Morning" cup of coffee First off, I want to say that Keurig is a great company to work with. Now to my complaint. Why won't my new Keurig safely brew my McCafe pods? It will brew one but the next cup is full of coffee grounds. I have wasted so much time and money cleaning up this Keurig mess. With this Keurig pod, it is a 50/50 chance that I will get my morning coffee. My McCafe pods say Keurig on them and have the scan code. The McCafe is my favorite coffee along with Krispy Kreme. The latter works fine. My advice---Do not buy if you want to enjoy the McCafe coffee. Help! I am now going to toss my McCafe morning coffee.....again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed in Keurig K475 I had been using a K55 for 5 years and decided I wanted the K475 because it had a larger water tank and updated features. Well was I disappointed!! I have used the K475 for appoximately 3 months and the touch screen stopped working. First it had lines and then the screen went snowy like a TV screen. The coffee maker would not work at all. It's in the garbage now and I purchased another K55 because I gave my old one to my daughter. It is still working fine. My point is bigger and better is not always best. Happy with my K55....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good Luck w/ your new machine in 10 mos or so..... I am so frustrated, but just read a review from someone having the same issues. Pressure blowing top off k-cup followed by a cup full of grounds. At least now I know it isn't just me. I am on my 4th brewer since the summer of 2012. That first one lasted a couple years, then the display died. I have had 3 of the new ones and it's the same garbage each time. Making a cup of coffee is supposed to be easy with this system......not an incredible mess. I think it's time to try another brand of brewer.

Can I use my regular K cups with this system?

Asked by: punch
Yes you can. I use non Keurig brands as well as the little filter basket thing so I can use my own grounds.
