I love my daily coffee but I don't always feel like going to the coffee shop. I don't usually drink more than one cup of coffee a day and my husband has different taste in coffee than I do. My husband's boss bought one for their office and he kept telling me how great it was. We got this Keurig for Christmas and I love it already. I love that I can drink one perfectly sized cup of coffee without having to wait for a pot to brew and I'm not wasting anything. I'm also a big tea drinker and it's so much quicker to brew tea with this than to boil the water and wait for the tea to steep. I don't understand the complaints about noise. I think my regular coffee pot is louder overall especially at the end of the brewing cycle. It's easy to set up, easy to clean up and makes a great cup of coffee or tea and there's less mess to clean up than with my regular coffee maker. My only complaint is that the base model doesn't have the 6 oz brew choice since that is recommended for the iced tea.

I have had mine for 2 months. My parents have had one for over a year and my father-in law has had his for over a year. Never a single problem with any of them, because we are smart enough to read the instructions. These machines need regular maintanance. They shouldn't be left on 24 hours a day. We have one at work. The second day we got it, a coworker comes in and says its broke. This is the guy who always tears up the copier, and has been through 3 laptops and 2 data projectors in a couple of years. Come to find out, he had not put the water resevior back in properly. Then he pressed a button to brew before allowing it to heat up. He didn't follow the proper sequence. It "short-cupped" him. I unplugged it for a few seconds, reset everything and taught him the correct sequence and it has worked fine ever since. Some people could mess up an anvil with a rubber hammer. Hey Kuerig- do you make an idiot proof machine for all the folks who break theirs every few weeks?

I won this as a prize from a local company and was thrilled I had, because my husband couldnt seem to justify the cost for our family for us to have coffee or hot tea/cocoa every day but only once a day. After we got it home, we ran the initial "first run" process then brewed a cup of coffee and the ease was totally great. I've always hated making a regular pot of coffee for only one or two cups only to dump out the rest. Now I can make my one cup. If I want a "fancy coffee" like you can buy in some places I just make the smaller amount. Have no complaints about temperature, comes out plenty hot for me, as for the water, ours is already filtered coming out of our home tap thanks to water that isn't extremely to drink anyway, so needing filtered or bottle water makes no difference in my home. Now that we've used it, and I've even used it a few times a day, husband does see that it is justifiable for the cost and is glad we got it for those days he may want hot cocoa but I want coffee and our daughter wants tea.

First off I would like to say that this is the best brewer that I've ever used. When I got it I was very excited. It came with an assorted box of tea and coffee plus a 1 year warranty if registered online. I use it everyday and love it. It's so easy to use. Power on, let it heat, choose cup size, done. And this machine cleans itself. Every time you use it it makes a fresh hot cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. I use it everyday until now. When I select the cup size the machine doesn't draw water from the external resevoir into the internal . So I called customer service and they helped me troubleshoot. No luck! So they said they would ship one to me for free with no shipping cost. And he shipped a free 24 count box of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate of my choice. And even better, he also sent a coupon code to my email for free shipping on my next order. Keurig is the best. All of their products seem great and their costumer service is extraordinary. Go Keurig!

As a serious coffee drinker who consumes coffee 24-hours per day, I was excited to receive this as a Christmas present. The first one just poured water all over the place. After visiting the internet, I discovered that the plastic ring in the top part of the machine was missing. So the person that gifted the machine to me gave me the receipt and I exchanged it for another one. The second one seemed to work very well and I fell in love with a fresh cup of coffee on a daily basis any time I felt like having one. Unfortunately, it began performing inconsistently and I never knew if I would be seeing a half cup of coffee or a full one. Now, in less than a year, it is just pouring water out of the bottom. After phoning customer service, they tell me they are sending me a new water reservoir. I hope they are right and that is the problem. I recorded a video but I see here that I am not allowed to post a link ... sorry. If you purchase these machines, just be aware that they are pricey and you will be lucky to get a year out of one. :-(

I bought this model several years ago. It has faithfully served me well. I'm not an everyday coffee drinker, and more often use it for hot tea. I like the fact that I don't have to brew a whole pot just to get a cup or two, plus the system offers an entire variety of coffees and teas to suit any impulse. I have read some of the other reviews here, and my only complaint is the limited cup sizes. However, in contrast with others, I have never had any short cup issues, water quality (scale) issues (although I do use only filtered water - either reverse osmosis or charcoal filtered) or clogging (be sure to run a cup of clear water after using any hot cocoa cups). I like it so much, I was hoping to upgrade to the Breville version (I am a huge fan of the quality and design of Breville products), but after reading so many poor reviews of the Keurig/Breville brewer, I think I'll stick with my trusty Elite system. Never had the slightest issue.
