Rated 2 out of 5 by royalpoppy Didn't even last a week
I successfully used the blender twice. On the third try it smelled like burnt rubber. Sure enough the sealing ring had detached and was actually inside my milkshake in chunks as I poured it out. Mind you I have had these kinds of blenders before so I know how to properly clean and assemble it back together. Everything was properly assembled. I will order a replacement ring ($4). Hopefully this doesn't happen again. If so, to the garbage it goes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sunshine Bulky defective blender
I have used Oster blenders for the past 29 years from JC Penney. but I am not happy with this blender. It takes long time to grind, I can grind very small portions. bulky and has a cheap glass container. Low high switch is so delicate it comes apart. I regret buying this. Don't know what to do with it...

I am very happy with my first purchase from JCPenny.com.
Pricing was very reasonable and shipping was prompt. The only fault I found was lack of insulation in the box it was shipped in.
On a scale from 1 to 10 this rates a 9. I will purchase in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Summer Bad product
My old blender was a Hamilton Beach which lasted 10 years. I was hoping this Oster blender would work well with 16 speeds. There wasn't a significant difference between the speeds. More like it was 8 speeds and not 16. The material for the blender base was cheap and flimsy. It didn't feel like all the pieces were set in place securely when completely assembled. While the blender was turned on it smelled like rubber was burning. Maybe I got a defective one. I returned it.
