Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bowl will -NOT- remove from base, Blade will -NOT- remove fr I purchased one of these darling little things a while ago, in a gorgeous, ice blue colour. It's beautiful. It makes me happy just to see it sitting there. But... it doesn't work. 90+% of the time, the blades will not spin. ¯\(°_o)/¯ You have to open the bowl, and push down on the blade unit every few seconds (no exaggeration), and then it will run for a second or less. Worse, I cannot remove the bowl from the base. Nor am I able to remove the blade from the bowl. I was going to throw it out, but it pained me too much to go through with it, so I st put it away. I'm in the process of trying to 'minimalize', so today was do-or-die day for the mini chopper. I started messing with it, just to see, and suddenly, with the chopper empty, it seemed fine. I could very easily remove the blade from the bowl, repeatedly, and it was clicking into place as it had not previously done before, so my hopes were high. Blasted hope. It went right back to doing the same thing. I don't know what to do. I've read the manual, and it offers no solution. If anyone is able to advise me, so I don't have to trash my little machine, I surely would appreciate it. I'm in the market for a large stand mixer. This does not bode well for the KitchenAid brand in my search, which saddens me a great deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect size I received my processor a few days ago I washed it and used it right away. It did a fantastic job on chopping up my onions, garlic, celery and carrots. Being dishwasher safe made a snap to clean. Definitely perfect for those everyday jobs that don't require its big brother the full-sized processor. I would have given it five stars except for a couple of things. First of all assembly of the food bowl onto the base proved a little unwieldy. I found it difficult to hold the base still while I try to snap the food bowl onto it. Perhaps you could put some form of handgrip onto the base to hold on to while trying to assemble the food bowl. Also perhaps you could add one or two simple recipes into the instruction booklet to give people some ideas as to what they can do with this processor such as a simple sauce or salsa or hummus even a pesto sauce.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bowl will not come off the base I don't always use my mini processor and I remember why not. It works fine but when I'm ready to clean up , the bowl won't come off the base. It's always a struggle. I had to stop and write this review because of my frustration with the product. It's actually sitting on my kitchen counter waiting for me to undo it right now. I'm not happy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Little powerhouse! Love this little chopper! It's small but handles chopping veggies like it's bigger food processor does! Would give it 5 stars but it does need a handle to hold unto to get it open. A little hard to open cause you have to hold the whole unit to get the top open [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this little gadget! I had forgotten that this was going to arrive so I was oh so very delighted when it did. I had the older one for many years and liked it a lot. But this little 3.5 cup chopper beats it all to heck. It is lighter, has a larger capacity, open easier, has two speeds. The shape of the blade makes it work better at chop, and the puree speed is truly amazing. I love the speeds, the weight, the capacity and the location of the buttons to operate it. A very good design indeed.! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent product The food chopper is an excellent device. It works perfectly. I own a lot of the KITCHENAID products and they last a long time and work perfectly all the time. I think that, no I know that KITCHENAID is one of the best products out there. The cost of the product is well worth it because it last for years and years. I had a KITCHENAID MIXER for over 12 years and I thought it was making funny noises, so I gave it to a friend of mine it is still working and they have had it for 10 years. I guess I should have kept it. I purchased another one and it still is running perfectly after 10 years. I use it a lot. A very happy customer!!!!!!!
