Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use This was a gift and the best! It is easy to assemble, although you do have to ensure that you have all the pieces clicked in tight or you might think it isn't working. I was able to easily assemble ingredients to make bread. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid unit Really missed having a food processor making pie dough for thanksgiving. Now I can make dough and so much more. I really like having the dual bowl. Haven't tried the dough blade yet; whole grain bread dough can be hard on a machine. Clean up is easy - the parts fit into the dishwasher easily. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Invention I was given this to me for Christmas and I am so happy that I have it. It makes my life so much easier. I do a lot of relish trays and use the food processor to slice up all of the vegetables. It makes it so much easier than doing it by hand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitchenaid rocks!!! This was a Christmas gift from my husband and like all Kitchenaid products, performance is excellent....if I just didn't have to clean it after use. Use primarily to make pie dough & a pancake mixture. Kichenaid always performs!!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Processor Cleaning I love all of my Kitchen Aid products with the exception of my food processor. I have had this for about a year and hand wash with meticulous care of of watching that food particles do not enter the chamber where the top insert with metal that activates the lock because it can get into and not able to get out easily. I had a family member the other day do dishes and didn't rely the info onto her. I pulled my processor out this morning and found several large food particles had got into that chamber/gap and unable to get it out. It is very frustrating that the design of this machine is such that it allows food to get into but not have a way to remove. This is very unsanitary in my eyes and it worries me that this will cause bacteria to grow and no way of rectifying the problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is absolute garbage. I bought this to replace my previous KitchenAid 9 cup food processor that I had for years. I adored it, but finally gave it up when all the plastic was cracking and the bowl had more or less fallen apart. I was excited to get a new one because this had several new features that the old one didn't. Boy, was I in for a let-down! This one has such a weak motor that it can't get through an 8-oz block of cheddar. Since I use it more for shredding cheese than for any other single task, this was a big issue for me. Perhaps my expectations were unrealistic, but my old one had no problem shredding cheese for 10 years! Now it won't turn on at all. I've taken apart the bowl assembly and put it back on more times than I can count, thinking maybe the bowl just wasn't sitting right. I've tried all different blades. It won't do anything. It's only been used about 10 times. What a waste of money. I don't even want it fixed or replaced because it was garbage when it was new. I've always been a loyal KitchenAid customer, but am never going to buy KitchenAid again after this. :(
