Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this chopper! Very poorly designed and there's no way to properly clean it. No comparison with the Pampered Chef version which is the gold standard of manual choppers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from CANNOT REASSEMABLE AFTER CLEANING! Terrible product. Who wants a food chopper that traps food inside it and when you take it apart to clean it, you cannot put it back together?! We have tried numerous times to put it back together without success. It is UNUSABLE! I was afraid I was going to get cut trying to force the blades back into place, so I just gave up. I looked for reviews on another site and many other people have had the same problem. Wish I had read those before I purchased this item. I wish I could find my Penney's receipt so I could return it! I'm told I can call 866-457-9340 and I hope that Kitchen Aid will be honorable and either refund or send a replacement of a different chopper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't take apart to clean and dry The inner part that the blades move through was hard to put in and then impossible to get out. There are no instructions on how to do it, and even the instructions I found on the internet didn't help. This means it cannot be cleaned well. Plus, even if the inner part can be removed, the plunger stays up so the inside can't dry well unless you prop it open with a spoon handle. Traded it for a similar one made by Good Grips, which has none of these problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice chopper! Great chopper! Chops well like it's supposed to! I like the black. The only downfall (to all choppers I suppose) is that food gets stuck in the cracks where the blades are. Oh well, still works great and is easy to clean!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Better to hand chop Hard to clean onion smell. Chopped leaving big hunks and little chunks no uniform. Hand got tired pushing on handle.
