Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Coffee Simply put I love this coffee maker. Very efficient and always makes a solid brew. I live in an apartment with my non-coffee drinking girlfriend so the 8 cup is the perfect size for me. My only complaint is you can't turn off the beep, which is extremely loud and can wake others in the morning. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as I hoped I loved this when I first got it as a gift. I have a full espresso bar at home, so am easily excited about new coffee pots for drip coffee. That was just a little over a year ago. I had a KitchenAid coffee pot before this one. Which I did LOVE and lasted me 5+ years. This one started giving me issues a few months back. Started pouring awfully slow. So cleaned it per instructions again.. it would pour...not great but okay enough. Cleaned it as needed and then again today since it was flashing. Now as soon as water is poured in, it just starts pouring out, coffee pot isn't turned on. If the pitcher isn't placed in the proper spot, the water just fills the grounds basket until it is. Things to know. I only use filtered water in my coffee machines. Used proper coffee cleaner as directed. WHEN this works, it's great don't get me wrong. But for a kitchen aid brand, it is pretty disappointing, how poorly it's made and how short lived it was compared to what I had before.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautifully designed. Very poor quality. I chose this beautifully designed coffee maker based on the credibility of Kitchen Aid and the unit's stunning design. Not a good judgement call on my behalf given the extraordinarily poor quality demonstrated by this purchase. One week following my purchase, the printing on the control pad buttons wore off. Additionally, the Kitchen Aid logo washed off. Given the quality/product integrity as evidenced by 1-week of limited usage (2 cups per day), I do not expect this high-priced unit to last until 2017. I can overlook the cheap plastic and less-than-perfect problem with water sediment that never dries in the cup level indicator, but logos and control pads washing off is an irresponsible flaw and big check mark against purchasing this coffee maker and Kitchen Aid. Don't buy it. I cannot speak for the rest of this line, yet use your own judgement based on the performance as evidenced by this product in the Kitchen Aid line.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Squatty Pot I have and love a lot of kitchenAid products, unfortunately this is not one of them. The squatty pot is a bit difficult to maneuver under the filter holder, awkward to wash and not made of durable glass. The space in which to pour the water is narrow. Also, I have not figured out a way to air dry this coffee maker. It does make a decent cup of coffee.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Coffee terrible machine Love the coffee, it truly makes great coffee. The problem is they haven't really perfected the machine. First the heater for the coffee pot only stays on for 1 hour and there is no way to change that. This just isn't enough time. Most coffee makers are at least 2 hours. The programming and settings are easy to use but confusing and not intuitive. The machine has a mind of it's own. This is now my 3rd unit having been replaced by the retailer twice and the manufacturer once. It now have to be replaced again. Most recent problem I had was that I set it for my usual 4 cups which it is always set at and it made 6 cups. I just had very weak coffee. For an expensive coffee maker I'm very frustrated and I hate to have to waste more time handling this. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great-Tasting Coffee & Initial Quality I've had this coffee maker for a month and use it every day. It makes great coffee, daily cleaning is simple, and filling it with coffee and water are easy tasks. If you read other reviews that say that the water takes too long to heat or that they wish it brewed more coffee, or that the warmer doesn't stay on long enough (30 minutes in the Op Manual)--it feels like they're describing a normal auto-drip coffee maker. This wasn't designed for making lots of coffee quickly for lots of people; it was designed to make a few really good cups of coffee at a time that shouldn't be kept on a warmer for long. Long story short: After a month, I'm satisfied with this coffee maker. It's expensive, but makes quality coffee. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Warm Coffee Kitchen Aid, you really disappointed me on this product. I won't even go into all the kitchen aid appliances I have and love and that is why I bought this coffee maker even though I read a few reviews saying the coffee maker has it problems. It makes a great tasting cup of coffee but you have to microwave every cup before you drink it because it is either just warm or cool. If you use the recommended amount of coffee in the basket it normally will flow over and you have a mess and that was with course ground beans. After 7 days of frustration I returned it and bought another coffee maker. I was very disappointed in the product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ever This coffee maker was a little pricey and I was hesitant to purchase because of it. However I couldn't be happier. This unit is well made, looks good and makes the best coffee from any home coffee maker I have ever had. I takes a few minutes longer to brew than my other home coffee machines but well worth the wait. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
