Rated 2 out of 5 by from Makes me sad to say this but it's TERRIBLE!!! I bought this for myself in December 2013. I was soooooo excited! I have had this mixer for almost 3 years now and I'm sad to say that I almost NEVER use it. Why do I skip over this Beautiful mixer? Because of the glass bowl. It's TERRIBLE!!! It is soo heavy and it's a pain to wash. I went through 3 bowls in the first 6 months because the rubber, around the bowl rips. I can see grime behind the rubber, the mixer attachments don't reach the bottom of the bowl and the bowl is just too darn heavy. I am soo darn disappointed. I keep hoping that they will come out with a better, lighter bowl (that isn't glass.) I spoke to a wonderful customer service person within the first 6 month's of my purchase and told her my concerns but I never heard back from customer service. I feel stuck. This was an investment for me but sadly, it was not a good one. Still hoping that one day they will come out with a better, lighter bowl so that mixes all the way to the bottom so that I can use the darn thing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Slightly Disappointed Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of the day where I would get my own stand mixer. That day finally came May 2016 when I got married. While I love my mixer, I am disappointed in it. Often times when I go to use it, I turn it on the 1st speed and nothing happens. I then have to move the level back to 0 then try again. The second try generally works. I have also been disappointed in the fact that the paddle attachment and whisk do not reach all the way to the bottom as I am used to them doing with my Mother's old mixer. I then tried to go buy the rubber spatula attachment and the 6qt one is way too big. So, I traded it in for the 5qt one. I test fitted the 5qt attachment and it seemed to be the correct one. Tonight I tried making cookies with the spatula attachment and was sorely disappointed. The Spatula attachment is even shorter than the provided paddle! Because I have already thrown away the packaging and receipt (as I purchased it weeks ago) I am now stuck with an attachment that does not work properly. Please, please, please make a rubber scraper attachment to fit this model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just A Waste of Counter Space I have had my Pro Series 600 Stand Mixer for at least 7 years now. If I used it a dozen times that would be saying a lot. The reason I spent a FORTUNE on this mixer was because of the reputation it had with all of my friends who owned one. If I wanted to spend my time constantly scraping the bowl I would have just stayed with my KitchenAid Hand Mixer! It is awkward to use, the attachments are hard to get off and the does not start when you first turn it on. KitchenAid Folks: It is unconscionable that you are still selling this product being fully aware of these issues for years! Your development team STILL has not come up with an attachment to remedy this situation! It seems to me that KitchenAid does not care about the customer anymore and hasn't for quite some time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Glass bowl cracked! Bought this after watching many demos online and on TV shopping channel - can't tell you how many times they tapped the beater against the rim of the bowl after mixing something up....did the same thing this week when making cookies - CRACK - the bowl broke - glass everywhere. After spending so much on a mixer, now have to spend even more to replace the bowl. Not a good value. Will buy the stainless bowl instead of risking another mishap like this - ruined my batch of cookies.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Like everyone else, disappointed This is my 3rd Kitchenaid in 25 years. My husband and kids got this for me for a birthday present as I have been wanting this one for about a year. I gave my previous 2 to family members and I wish to get them back! Just like all the other reviews, the mixing attachments don't reach to the bottom or sides of the bowl and I have yet to find a scraper attachment to work. Also, like other reviews, the motor doesn't come on clicking to the first setting, you have to go up and back into the speed. It's super noisy. It is so beautiful and I am so bummed it isn't as good as my 2 older, smaller ones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this as an upgrade to my 15 year old 4 1/2 quart KitchenAid. The problem is that the flat beater and whisk do not reach the bottom of the bowl. I have tried the height adjustment, but it did not help. This is not the type of product I would expect from KitchenAid.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Such a shame...a flaw that I can't get over Like other users, I cannot agree more, the space with the paddle or the hook to the bottom of the bowl is just bad craftmanship, which is the last thing I would expect from a kitchenaid product. So sad! It's so disappointing to shut off my mixer every few seconds to scrape the bowl. I don't even know what to do with this lump anymore.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fragile Glass Bowl I have owned this mixer for over a year now and loved it until a small glass spice bottle fell 9 inches down from my cabinet's lowest shelf, shattering the rim of the bowl and sending fine slivers of glass everywhere. The spice bottle didn't break! I would definitely recommend this mixer to anyone who bakes a lot! The glass bowl is heavy and fragile, so I would suggest getting the stainless steel bowl instead. This mixer has great attachments and makes baking so much easier! I give it only 4 stars because of the glass bowl. Otherwise, it would be 5! If this stand mixer lasts as long as my grandmother's still working Kitchenaid 3 B has, the price will definitely have been worth it!

Answer:
No, but love the capacity size of the bowl. I was able to mix double batches of cookies at one time. Saved me time preparing for Christmas baking.
