Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Setup, This was a requested birthday gift from my girlfriend and it was pretty much exactly what I hoped for! One of our favorite dishes is a no-noodle pad thai dish that involves slicing up a lot of vegetables (zucchini and the like). The spiralizer does an excellent job of that and saves us a TON of work. I would only want two slight changes: 1) The spiralizer only accommodates food up to 5-5.5 inches long. I wish it could take things just a little longer, as many things we want to spiralize are more in the 6-8 inch length. Cutting those into two pieces means a little extra work chopping up the remaining base of the fruit/veggie that the spiralizer doesn't get to. Not too much hassle, though. 2) I would like the spiralizer to get a little closer to the base of the food. As is, it leaves behind about 1/2 inch of food that we have to slice by hand. Ultimately, both of these are minor inconveniences. The product is definitely worth a purchase and I highly recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes Healthy Meals a Snap I have had this attachment for quite sometime. It makes putting together a healthy meal quick and easy- you can have sweet potato curly fries, zucchini noodles, or carrot spirals in a snap. I have tried several recipes with different veggies noodles and all of them were a hit. It also makes peeling and coring apples for pie less of a chore. It does have quite a few parts, which can get annoying when you are first learning to put it together, but after a few uses, you'll be a pro. You do have to pay attention when selecting your vegetables, since there are suggested sizes when using the attachments. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally!! I bought this a few weeks ago and absolutely love this product. I am also an owner of a Veggetti and apple corer/slicer/spiralizer that clamps into my island. I am getting rid of these space-wasters this week. The Kitchenaid Spiralizer Stand Attachment has everything I need and is so easy to put together, clean up, and it all stores in a perfect box with a magnetic lid. My children have had spiraled apples everyday after school and they have been begging me to make curly potato and sweet potato fries...again. I love the smaller core and larger core blades because one size doesn't always fit all. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as I'd expect a Kitchenaid product to work ... It is easily assembled, and works very well ... much better than a standalone peeler I'd used before. It made fast work of spiralizing zucchini and other vegetables. My only caveat is that items like broccoli stalks don't work in it ... the part holding the base of the stalk cannot grip it well enough to allow spiralizing an asymmetrical stalk. This is as much an issue with the vegetable as it is with the design. Only a cone-type spiralizer is likely going to work well with broccoli stalks. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! My KitchenAid is not just for baking anymore! After wasting money on other gadgets, one after another looking for a better working product, I caved and bought this spiralizer. It's the one I wanted from the start but I had to waste money on cheesy plastic hand crank ones before I realized this one was worth the money. Easy to use, even on carrots which were difficult in any other spiralizer. So easy to install - I was surprised it didn't take much effort or time to read directions. Can't wait to use it on salads, dinners, and so much more. My kitchen aid isn't just for baking anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely horrible I bought this because I wanted to spiralize vegetables for salads and also because I like to slice apples for pie and for dried apples. Horrible! It seems the blades aren't sharp at all - the vegetables turn to mush and it was not able to peel or slice the apples. Completely useless waste of money. I've gone back to using an apple peeler/slicer that I turn by hand and to slicing zucchini etc. on a mandolin and then cutting into noodles. Very very disappointed, and I'm not sure that I trust any of the other kitchen aid attachments after this bad experience. I would give negative stars if I could.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was super excited about this purchase and waited a long time to get it. However, when I use with zucchini and squash, the rotation hollows out the base and the vegetable becomes unable to be spiralized. I tried different speeds to see if that would make a difference but no such luck. Because of the cost, I was let down with this Kitchen Aid product. Rated 4 out of 5 by from One more blade would have earned 5 stars I love this product and the recipes on the site for the spiralizer. It is easy to use and easy to clean. I can create large spirals of potatoes to roast or thin spirals (think spaghetti) that provide more nutrition than pasta. I wish I had a blade that created a fettuccine width for butternut squash!
