Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jeans but mine faded in an odd way First, let me say I love the cut and fit of these jeans. For a tall (5'11") size 16, they fit great. The black jeans fit a little smaller, so I'd go a size up next time. They do fade quickly, though. I purchased the Seattle color and both pairs faded in a strange way - not all over equally, leaving a darker patch from the zipper down the inseam to the knee, about 3" wide on each leg. As the jeans fade, this area stays noticeably darker so that it sort of looks as if you've wet yourself when you put them on. I need my jeans to stay long so I wash them in cold and air dry them. These faded any way. I'm not sure if it's the grain of the fabric, the dye or something else that made them fade this way, but both pairs are doing it - one pair more so than the other. I deducted a star for that reason - I still wear the jeans, but only with tunics or long sweaters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even my husband noticed how well they fit I have a terrible time finding jeans that fit. I'm taller, 5'8" with a 34" inseam. I have a smaller waist and larger hips, so midrise pants and shorts rarely fit well. They tend to gap at the back and push the top of my stomach out. I also want to be able to bend over without my business showing to the world, plus elastic at the waist pants are not in my repertoire yet. I've been wearing the Lee Classic in long and they fit great albeit a little bit short. I bought a pair of these Monroes in tall. They look fantastic. At my waist without looking dorky, making my middle look tiny. They fit my hips and toosh and the length is perfect. Just enough stretch to control without binding and they haven't bagged out anywhere while wearing them. I like my good jeans very fitted, these tend to run a little large(I'm a 10, I bought an 8 so they fit like a glove). Very happy, will buy more. Great price as most "tall" women's jeans run in the $60.00 range on up. If you want a less fitted feel, order your regular size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bring Back the heavier, not-so-stretchy denim! I have always found Lee's Classic Fit jeans to fit me well and look great. I am about 5'10" and usually a size 12. I had ordered the Monroe style before and really liked them. However, the last time I ordered, I found that the material was much thinner and stretchier, almost like a legging material than a jean. As a result, although they seemed to fit well at first, as the day wore on they got baggier and dumpier-looking. The legs had lots of extra material bagging on them and the jeans did not hug and flatter my figure the way the old ones did. Here's a news flash for you at Lee Jeans: thinner, more stretchy material does NOT flatter a woman's figure! It clings to every lump and bump, and does not "hold in" and shape the body at all!!! If I wanted leggings, I would order leggings. They are comfortable, yes, but comfort is not the only consideration when buying jeans. A woman needs something that will mold and flatter her figure, even if she has to sacrifice a smidgen of comfort. If you want to offer these stretchier jeans, then fine, go ahead -- but don't take away your original jeans for those of us who love them! I am over 55, but I still have a fairly decent figure and don't want to obscure it in baggy jeans! These become more like "relaxed" jeans after a few hours, and I much prefer the tighter, classic fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Old-Fashioned Jeans I am 6'0" tall. I have a long rise and a 35 inch inseam. I purchased these jeans in my usual size of 10T. Unfortunately, these jeans do not fit me well. The length is great. But, the fabric is thin. And, the rise is very high (giving the jeans an old-fashioned appearance). The material hugs my hips in such a way that every bulge is accentuated. The jeans make my pear-shaped bottom look even worse. So, I will need to return this item.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SIZING CHART IS WRONG.EXPECT TO REORDER FOR SIZE Sweepstakes Entry. Good jeans. CAUTION Sizing runs large. I used the JCP size chart and then went to Lee website and used their sz chart. Measured my self and checked both charts. Both showed I needed a 16. I am 5'11. Not skinny...Not overweight. I have a defined waist.I usually wear a 14 jean but a 12 Hollywood waist side zip slack. Inseams always 34 min, prefer 35 or 36.Ordered jeans by size chart...a 16TALL , 2 pr. Literally fell off me. Could pull off without unzipping.Could pull waist ban out over 5 inches from my body. Exchanged for a 12T which fit well but are still not as snug as I would like. They do have a lot of stretch in the material. Keeping size 12's. Ordered a 10T , if they fit the way I want, I will keep Sz 12T for casual and 10T for when I want to look really good. Wish a gray, white, tan and beige was available.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I agree - BRING BACK THE HEAVIER, NOT-SO-STRETCHY DENIM! These stretchy jeans just get bigger as the day goes by. Since Lee has added the stretch to their jeans, I have to wear a belt with every one of them. I really like the old cuts and fabrics much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have 8 pairs I wear jeans to work every day and wash and Iron them weekly. I love these jeans! I'm 6 ft tall, and these are the only jeans that are long enough and fit correctly on my hips. I buy them whenever they are on sale, just to have enough when they start to wear out!
