Rated 2 out of 5 by from Only bought these because I was desperate for replacements. I have worn the Classic Plain Front pants for many, many years and was very disappointed when I could no longer purchase them. I was forced to buy the "new" version and now the "All Day Pant" version. I do not like the material. Tops cling to it. I want a navy blue, not an imperial blue. With the added stretch, the size I normally wear feels OK when first putting them on, but, as the day wears on, they stretch to a bulky state by afternoon. I am trying a smaller size, which may fit better. I have stopped putting them in the dryer as they come out wrinkled and the bottoms curled up, even on the permanent press setting of my dryer. I, like others who have commented, want the previous pants back. My only problem with them was the colors would fade over time. I wear Lee pants everyday and long for the original Classic Plain Front pants. Please bring them back, with a navy blue color, too! I do appreciate the "long" option as that is what I need.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back your plain front pant! I've purchased your plain front pant for years and love them. I needed to refresh my wardrobe and found that I could no longer order the plain front pants and so tried a couple of pairs of your "all day" pant. I couldn't wait to return them! The fabric is hot, the pants fit too snugly and cling (very unprofessional and hard to work in to boot), and the hems would curl after washing. Plus, my daughter had worn your plain front pant as part of her school uniform but faced the same issue I did when trying to order some for the new school year. She tried a pair of the all day pant and was told she couldn't wear them to school because they were too form fitting and snug. She returned them and found a different brand that works. Whose idea was it to mess with a good product? Please bring back your tried and true plain front pant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfortunally not with this particular material. I must say I agree with the others. I have been buying these pants for probably close to 20 years and I hate the new material. I wear them to work everyday and will not be able to purchase this style. My current pairs were purchased about a year and half ago only because I was lucky enough to find some on clearance since they were the old style. Please bring back the old style. It makes me very sad how companies are constantly changing products that people love. What is the old saying..."if it ain't broke don't fix it!" Obviously these pants were not broken. When you are not rail thin and you are finally able to find pants that fit great and you feel good wearing them only to find out the product you loved so much has changed and you have to start over trying to find something to wear, it is very disheartening. Please bring back the style that is loved by many!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I refuse to buy these pants again. I use to be able to buy the classic plain front, at the waist, pants. I have been buying for years & loved the fit, the material was great, wore well & easy to wash & wear. The last time I purchased them the material stretches out, everything clings to them, they don't wash well. They wrinkles & curl up at the legs. In other words they are cheap & not worth the money. I have been forced to look elsewhere for the pants i need for work. I will not purchase them again. It seems to me you will be losing a lot of your customer base due to the change.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor material and bad fit I was puchasing the relaxed fit flat front for many years and wearing them everyday to work. They were comfortable and the fit was very good. As the years went one, the were made with cheaper material. The current made ones are just "bad" and as far as the fit. If you have very skinny legs they would be fine because everything is now straight leg with no options for people of normal size. I never had a problem before, but currently there is no option. I will be looking to different brands to find an alternative until there are more options. I can't believe it will take until fall of 2017 to have more options. Very disappointed

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Poor Quality Fabric I have been wearing Lee Relaxing Fit pants for many years and always loved the 100% cotton. At first I thought I might like these new ones with the little bit of stretch in them, but they actually shrunk after the very first washing and I always wash in cold water and hang dry. The fabric doesn't have a nice feel like the 100% cotton either and they attract link and anything that can stick. They wrinkle badly as well. I could toss my old ones in the dryer after they had hung dry and the wrinkles would just fall out and they were soft and comfortable. I really hate the new fabric. It feels and looks really cheap. Please bring back the previous fabric/style.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never again Loved the old style. Why change it, please bring it back. I agree with others, why did you change it? Need new pants but sure will not buy Lee's now. Will have to go out and find new pants. Sad for you because if I find one I like I probably will not be back to Lee's. That is how it goes when companies change a product, we go figure d another and stick with that one until it changes. Guess you call this progress, I call it loosing customers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost - in a few ways The LOOK - these have all of the annoyance of linen. All is crisp when I set out on my FOUR mile drive to work. They look like smashed up summer linen as soon as I get out of the car. Other than that they are extremely comfortable. Size/length frustration: I must try on all 12s and 14s in both regular and long - and then see what fits. Sometimes it's the smaller, sometimes the larger. Then I need either a 'long' regular or a 'short' long. This is especially frustrating as it prohibits you from being able to purchase pants that fit from any online location. I understand that the 'heathered' versions (as opposed to the 'woven' versions) wrinkle much less. I have not yet encountered any heathered varieties in my size. I even attempted to match the overall fit reliability based upon the country of origin but that was not reliable either. This situation is especially frustrating as it is so difficult for me to get pants to fit because I'm shortwaisted and have a flat backside. So close.....

I have always been told to soak black clothing the first time in vinegar and it seems to work.I also use detergent meant especially for dark clothes and I pour in a cup of vinegar with the load. Don't forget cold water only!

Answer:
I am just about 5 feet tall. Bought the petite which ended up unfashionably short. Then tried the Misses Short and have noticed that length seems to be determined by color choice. None are so long that I feel the need to hem them. I have black, imperial blue, and parchment. Black is only a tiny bit too long, blue is a bit longer and parchment is the longest. By longest I mean if I was going to wear totally flat shoes I would want it to be shorter by maybe a cuff length. They are super-comfortable too.
