by KayNC Overall Great Pants - until my last order!
Over the years, these have been my favorite pants. But my last order, a pair of twill side elastic pants, split apart between the inner and outer belt area across the front. These were only worn/washed 3 times. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by caregiver1 Pants that actually sit at the waist!
These Lee's pants with the side-elastic waistband have been my favorite for years. These pants actually sit at the waist and fit comfortably, without the gap of those annoying "mid-rise" pants. However, I now wear a Misses size 4/6 and the smallest size offered in these pants is a size 8. I hope that Lee will soon expand the size range in this style.

I love these pants and have bought them for years. They used to come in a 34" length and I wish Penney's would bring them back with that length.

I started a new job as a bank teller and needed some dressier pants. These are a little on the business casual side, but I can dress them up with a nice blouse, dress flats and some jewelry and look quite nice. I also wear a belt to dress them up, even though I don't need one as far as fit is concerned. These pants are very comfortable, even for a nine hour day. The twill fabric is a wee bit on the heavy side for summer, but luckily I work in an air conditioned office. I bought these online, which is usually a no-no for me, as I can be hard to fit. These pants fit extremely well, however, and I'm very happy with my purchase. My main problem is that my waist is small compared to my hips, and usually I end up with a huge gap at my waist. The elastic sides help with that and they fit perfectly at both the waist and the hips. I have a shorter inseam as well, and the length on these is perfect. SO, if you are taller at all, check the measurements on the inseam and take it into account. You may very well need a long. But for me they work great, and fit well in the hips, waist and length, and I like the tapered legs. I purchased these in black, navy and khaki, so I have a pair to go with every blouse in my wardrobe. Since I don't wear jackets or blazers I don't feel the need to buy dressier (and more uncomfortable!) pants. I'm thinking about buying the one other color that Lee offers, and I just wish that they offered more colors. An offering in gray might be nice.

I buy these because they tend to sit nicely at the waist. They are comfortable and are great for work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by slamdunkmama This product has great features.
The black stretch-denim fabric practically guarantees a better fit.
The side-elastic feature is a must and a godsend for someone, like myself, whose waist is considerably smaller than hips, butt, thighs. I ordered it in Petite Short, a perfect length for me.Tailoring costs would have been prohibitive. These jeans launder very well, especially if you follow the directions provided. My only disappointment is that the Indigo Blue and Pepper Stone Blue colors were not available in the stretch denim fabric, only "regular" denim.

Rated 5 out of 5 by emma These were exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted something that was loose, but not baggy and these jeans fit the bill totally. I do not like the tight fitting legs that are all the fashion. They are for young ladies. I am in my 70's and need comfort. They also fit well at the waist with no crunching of the stomach. I ordered the relaxed fit, size 16, and they were perfect. I see some of the comments about them being so wrinkled coming out of the dryer. I hung mine up to dry, smoothing out the wrinkles, (which were not bad). I had a very nice crisp pair of jeans that I love to wear with no ironing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SandraNarie Very disappointed
I have lost 80 pounds and was so excited to buy my first pair of jeans in 25 years! I had always worn Lee jeans before and loved them. I read some of the reviews about the white lines running down the pants and how much they stretched out after just wearing them for a few minutes. Also mentioned was the fraying at the seams but I was so used to the quality of the old Lee jeans that I thought those were just flukes but boy was I shocked when I received my jeans and tried them on and ALL 3 things happened. They were frayed at the seams and stretched out almost immediately after wearing for a few minutes and I mean really stretched out and after I washed them just once there comes the white lines and worse fraying. Needless to say, they went straight back to the store. What has happened to the quality of Lee jeans? Totally disappointed.
