Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please return to the original fabric Over the years your fabric and quality of these pants have changed to the worse. The original fabric blend of cotton 81% Polyester algodon 18% and Spandex 1% was a wonderful combination. These were no iron, no wrinkles had a mercerized look and there was a permanent crease! Now without the polyester algodon, they are terribly wrinkled right out of the dryer, never smooth and cling to me like crazy and no longer have a permanent crease. Moreover, the same sized pants vary hugely from pair to pair. When I talked to your customer service, they stated you had a 10% tolerance in fit! That is an unheard of tolerance. Not buying any more of these pants until you fix your problems.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Side Elastic Jeans I have been wearing these jeans for many years exclusively but recent changes have caused me to shop elsewhere. I have been requesting other colors-colors you have offered in the past like khaki-for a number of years now. I have also called in because the usual size I buy in pepperstone has somehow changed and the waist is much tighter now than previously. In fact the jeans from 20 years ago in a size smaller still fit and the new ones do not. Black fits fine but mine also faded after just four washings this last time. They are now the same color as the black jeans from three years ago which have been washed many more times. Please if you read these reviews Lee-can you do something to bring back the quality and the variety that you were known for in past years. It would be nice to have these available in stores again so they could be tried on without spending a fortune on shipping and return. At least offer khaki and washed denim for the summer. We long time shoppers would be soooo happy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrinkles I have worn this style of Lee trouser for years. I have two pairs remaining of the previous blend of fabrirs and they come out of the dryer with minimal ironing needed. This new version comes out so badly wrinkled that I have to iron them inside and out in order for them to be presentable (and that still doesnt take all the wrinkles out. I have tried not drying them, I have tried minimally drying them, and I have tried drying completely, yet every time they come out badly wrinkled. I want the old blend back please.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Agree wholeheartedly with criticism of new material Have worn this style for years - very comfortable for an active lifestyle and pairs well with dress tops for a business casual look. Weather appropriate in hot and cold. But upon receiving my last order I noticed that the black pants were the same twill finish and fit as previous pairs. The material was the same 99% cotton/1% spandex composition. However, the navy pair was much heavier feeling, suede-like in its finish, and fit much looser. The material composition was 98% cotton/2% spandex. I thought maybe I had ordered the wrong pants, but after reading these comments I understand that the material has been changed, much to the detriment of the product. I was able to locate some of the old style pants from online vendors. I won't buy another pair of these until the material goes back to being more in line with what it was.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad quality. The pants shrunk in length and the color faded fast. Wish you would go back to the original fabric. Need more colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these jeans. I'm so glad I googled this and found them. I have worn traditional Lee jeans before but always felt a gap in the waist and then I felt like my underwear were showing when I sat down. Not so with these. Never have to worry about what I'm showing the poor people who sit behind me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the side elastic slacks and jeans I have a small waist for the rest of me. Slacks and pants to fit my hips always gap in the back. These don't!!! I've been wearing these for years and hope that they are never discontinued. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fabric is Horrible! I have purchased these pants forever!! The fit for me has always been PERFECT! I used to have all the colors and Lee used to have these in denim..."dress" jeans for dress down fridays.....and wore them all to work..they held their shape and looked professional with a blazer. I have since semi-retired, and have still been purchasing them for my part-time work, but I no longer will. The fabric of these pants is NOT a twill it is like a suede material. !! (run your hand along it and it changes color) the pleats do not hold when I press them, and they are HEAVYweight!!! I am SOOOOO disappointed with the material....the "fit" is still great, but after at least 20 years of buying them I will not buy them again. Sorry Lee, you REALLY messed this one up !! Call me when you change this style back to a TWILL or denim fabric...until then....I am starting to shop around to find my next "perfect" pants.

what is side seam measurement

The description shows inseam measurement. I'd like to know the side seam measurement of misses 10 short and petite 10-not short. I'd like to order, but not sure which would be the better fit for me. Hate having to pay return postage to make exchange. Thank you
Asked by: mnlady
I don't know the measurements. What I found is that when I and my daughter got the short instead of average, they were too short in the crotch--made them very low waisted. I am 5'3" and my daughter is 5'2"

Do these pants run true to size?

For example if you normally wear a size 14; would it be advisable to order a size 14 even though these pants have an elastic waste?
