Rated 3 out of 5 by from These are OK I'm not sure why Levi's doesn't mention this anywhere on the website, but their black denim ALWAYS runs big. I sized down two inches from what I usually wear in their 511s and I could still possibly go smaller. These will work for me but they could be better. 511s seem to be running wider from the knee to the ankle these days, which goes against the current trends. It's an OK fit if you're wearing boots, but looks sloppy cuffed with sneakers. I might try the 512 in the future, or just look for a brand with more modern styling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Levi's can be frustrating I purchased these stretch 511's in the grey and dark wash. While the color and waist through the thigh fit are perfect and exactly the same on both pairs - the knee down to the leg opening are different on both pair. The leg opening taper is about a half inch different on the dark wash than the grey. Also, since these do have elastic, the leg opening creates a boot cut type look depending on your height and the shoes you wear (I am 5'10"). I wear Allen Edmonds ankle boots and high top converses, so I had to get them rehemmed and the taper taken in about an inch to make them more of a slim fit that I prefer from the knee down (the 510's are too tight in the thighs - I workout). I do worry about the denim quality on these, being that they are relatively light weight. This is what makes Levi's frustrating at times. Every single pair of 511's is almost guaranteed to fit differently, and with new more affordable raw denim brands sprouting up online it will be difficult for them to keep customers happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good...but I really love these jeans. They have a great super-dark color. But, as so many have pointed out, they shrink substantially after a wash. The cotton ones do stretch pretty quickly after you put them on. I did not, by the way, order the Rigid Dragons online. I have horrible experience ordering Levi's online because of almost 100-percent certainty that they are not true to size,. It seems to depend on the country in which they are made. I've even ordered a few pairs that have incredibly shallow front pockets. I was pretty stupid to keep ordering here, when the results were so awful, so now I go to a store and can try on enough pairs to find a good fit. I hate that, and love the convenience of online shopping. But inconsistent suizing seems to be true of all online retailers. I've had to exchange medium shirts for XL and XL (even XXL!) for medium. So: Shop in a store, try on many pairs, don't machine-wash them until absolutely necessary, and avoid the elastene ones, which tend to stretch too much.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ran small I bought the darker unrinsed color in the size of my light blue rinsed pair and they were completely different fits. They were so small I couldn't where them. Great look and material just not true to size. Recommend trying them on before ordering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rinsed Playa Rinsed Playa is a lighter weight denim with pronounced built-in wrinkles around the crotch and upper thigh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite pair of jeans I am 5'7" and have always had trouble finding jeans that were the right length and also had a good fit otherwise; not with this pair though. At 29" the 511 fits perfectly lengthwise. The waist was actually closest to 32" that I have gotten in many many years and I am glad that the sizing isn't defiled by the wave of vanity sizing. I have a lean build (BMI: 21.9) and for me the fit is not as quite as snug as "Hipster" jeans and not as roomy as the 559s (which i also love); it's perfect. The cherry on this cake was the color though. The rigid dragon is an exquisitely dark shade for those that are looking for a non-blue/black-but-not-jet-black shade. It is quite simply, gorgeous. This is currently my favorite pair of jeans that I own.

I have a pair of Levi's 511 that I bought at a store. They do not have a size I need, but do have the color I want.

How can I ID the color as it is not listed on the garment tags? There are 2 codes on the tags. The one IDs the item, the other is 845110150. Is this the color code? If so what is the corresponding online color? Thank you. Ron
Asked by: Rock
If you click on the jeans they should have the color listed, I am not sure which # is the color number, but check the site and see which one matches and it should have a color listed.
