Rated 1 out of 5 by from sizing is off probably due to added stretch I hesitated on writing this review but I am going to in hopes that Levi's will sit up and take notice. Years ago before companies started to put stretch in their jeans you could actually count on getting a good fit. Well those days are gone. When I first tried these jeans on they were comfortable and I was very pleased especially with the inseam of 28" because that meant no alterations needed. Well since I have started to wear these around the house they have stretched out! I really don't want to go around hiking up my pants every time I walk a few steps. I went by the size guide and perhaps if there wasn't stretch in them which I ordered the minimum I could get by with they would be a good fit but that is not the case. I thought about ordering the 100 percent cotton but they are button up and I doubt I can handle the buttons now. I am going to try and return these and go down a size to see if that will work because I do like the style of jean and that they are boot cut and not those ugly skinny fit jeans which I am sorry to tell you ladies this but those jeans do not look good on anybody no matter your weight or height. Stop buying into what is the latest craze or fad that Hollywood is in because I don't see anybody out there paying our bills or return charges for these jeans when they don't work. Bring common sense back please, there is a reason for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall satisfied but not consistently made like others I've ordered I ordered a size 10 as I usually wear an 8 but have gained some weight. These were a bit too large, but that's ok. They are very comfortable. However, I found that they were made more for a curvy woman - the thighs curved out a bit on the sides, and usually these Levi 515 jeans don't do that (at least not in size 8 and I've ordered several size 8's over the years). I don't like or need that, as I have narrow hips and rather thin legs. Maybe it's just because they are a bit too large for me, but I could see that they curved out more than what I'm used to, so I don't think that's it. I ordered the Undercurrent color. I've also found that the darker colors are a bit shorter than the light colors, which is fine because I wear the lighter ones with heels (I'm 5'5" and weight 140). Still, the fit is good overall. I'm hoping they will shrink especially in the thigh area after several washes. The Levi 515, size 8, is my favorite! Best fit of any jean I've tried.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Levi's but... This is the 2nd time I've ordered Levi's from JCP as my local store no longer stocks them. I usually where a size 12. Last time, I purchased 2 identical pair, 1 pair fit perfect, other was about 2" too long and a bit bigger in the waist. Both were same size, style and color. Size 12 has a 31 length. I have a 32" inseam and still about 1-1/2 to 2" too long. I thought it was a fluke. This time I order 4 identical pair in 2 separate colors. 1 pair fit perfect, the 2 of 4, again, were too long and too big in the waist and the 4th pair length was long, but not as long as the other 2 pair and slightly bigger in waist, but not by much. I returned 2 pair to the store. Not sure why the difference, but I suggest ordering 1 size smaller and at least 2 or 3 pair (if not carried by your store) and returning what doesn't fit back to the store for credit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Totally disappointed I ordered three pair of 515's and have returned them all. They are all way too big and way too long and the material is thin - not even close to the heavy duty jean material formerly used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I finally found a perfect fit! I've tried for years to find a jean that would fit me perfectly and this one finally did! At first I was crushed to find out that the material was really stretchy but when I put them on they didn't fit like most stretchy jeans. They felt snug and not tight without showing my flaws. The waist fit me without any gap at all!!! I could not believe my eyes, I had to take a triple take in the mirror. I will buying more of this style (#515)!!! Love, love my new jeans!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not relaxed fit I am looking for a real relaxed jean. These are not a relaxed cut. If I got them any bigger they would be too big. I do not understand why relaxed jeans are so hard to find. I am very disappointed could tell just by holding these jean up they are not the jeans the model is wearing. GRRRR

Rated 2 out of 5 by from material i just want to say I have purchased the 515 many times over the course of several years and the materials they are made of, keeps changing and I do not like the stretchy fabric at all. Sure 5% spandex is not too bad, but they keep increasing the percentage of stretchy materials thus decreasing the cotton content. I actually prefer the more stiff, cotton Levis we all grew up with as opposed to these because they look and feel like stretchy pants and I do not like my jeans to look like sloppy cheap stretchy jeans and the quality of all the Levis jeans, in fact, has gone down. I will be looking for another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are the true levis for me. Hard to find sometimes in my size, but worth the wait. These are the only jeans I can count on fitting every time. When my size is available, I try to buy several. Thank you Levis, for having my jeans!!!

Answer:
The tag says fabric content is 99% cotton and 1% Elastane. They are very comfortable and not too stretchy. In my opinion these jeans are the perfect weight.

Answer:
My jean label shows 99% cotton so I guess that leaves 1% nylon or rayon?? The label doesn't identify the 1%. These jeans are so comfortable - usually I am uncomfortable sitting down in jeans because the waist band is so tight on my stomach but I do not experience that problem with these jeans. And, yes, they do appear to be thinner fabric than what I remember in high school but I like the feel/comfort of the lighter fabric. I originally bought just 1 pair to try them out but have gone back and purchased 2 additional pair. Tried to purchase a size with an 'S' after the size number, wanting to buy a shorter pair to wear with flats/sandals but they ended up being slim. Give them I try .... you never know .... you might be pleasantly surprised.

Answer:
My new 515 jeans are being shortened now. My old 515 jean label is faded, but I think it is 85% cotton & 15% polyester.

Answer:
So many tags! the washing instructions tag says 99% cotton 1% elastic. I too thought the pant was extremely thin in the package but with washing it has softened and thickened and for me it's fine and like my old ones.
