Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Unit I bought this product to replace a 5 year old Frigidaire unit that was of poor quality. The LG is a better quality product with very helpful features. I only wish I bought this one first. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from What's cooking? My new LMH2235ST over-the-range microwave was installed last week. Good looking, lots of desirable features, especially the extending vent fans. Unfortunately, the window in the door is a mere four inches tall and is centered on the upper half of the oven's interior. I cannot see what is cooking without standing on my tip-toes and pressing my nose to the door to look down into the lower half of the oven. This appears to be a really good microwave, but the problem of not being able to see the food as it cooks takes this from what could have been an excellent overall rating to just fair, and that's being generous. Seriously, what is the point in having a window if you can't see the food?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in Class! I can't say enough positive things about this microwave. We have had it for about three months now and use it daily. Not only does it cook food accurately and evenly, it is extremely quiet! It's high capacity sets it apart from others in its class. Another unique feature is the extended pop-out vent that allows more cooking fumes to be extracted from the air. The front of the microwave is also very easy to clean, as advertised. I highly recommend this microwave to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Microwave!!!! We owned several microwaves and we just remodeled our house and installed this over the counter microwave. It's not a decision you want to take easily as it's a focal point. This has to be the best microwave we've every owned. All of the features are awesome including the exhaust fan, bright lights, ease of cleaning and so on. Our last microwave had a hard to open door and this one feels like nothing, which is great! I'd buy it again without hesitation, if I needed another one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This microwave has unique features This microwave has a larger capacity. In addition, the feature I like best is the exhaust fan. Unlike other microwaves, this model includes a special feature whereby the exhaust pops out (i.e. extends) over the front burners of the stove and then can be retracted once you are through cooking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice controls but dark interior I like the 2235 because of the glass touch panel, LED stovetop light and extend-a-vent. I dislike it because of the small and dark viewing window and the dark interior. It's important to be able to see the food cooking. On a different note, why can't microwaves have true power rather than cycling the magnetron on and off at full-power? It would provide much gentler heating than zapping it at full power every few seconds. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
