Rated 1 out of 5 by from This could be a nice curtain IF... I received defective curtains the first shipment and returned them for exchange. Problem is, I received someone else' returned curtains as a replacement. They were not even in the original packaging, they stunk like cigarette smoke and were discolored a dirty tan color. I ordered white and these were not white at all. I compared them to my other curtains (I have 4 sets) and they were terrible dirty looking. Yes, customer service was willing to exchange again... no thanks. In the garbage can. No more Penny's shopping online for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am trying to cover an 11' MONSTROSITY of a window The situation: I have a 1954 ranch house with an absolutely ugly 11' picture window that is shaded by an even uglier metal awning along with an oversize bush underneath that darling husband cannot pull out as it is used as a snow barrier. I have been trying in vain to cover up all these hideousness. The problem: Darling husband would not allow me to put up curtain rods on the length of the woodwork above said window (only use tension rods in the window wells) These curtains: Are very sheer, very pretty & very classy. Would look good on a normal sized window that is actually nice to look at & through. The result: Valances are too sheer to cover up said 11' monstrosity of a window & that atrocious metal awning & oversize bush was still showing through sheer curtains. Wife wins...am looking at full length traverse rods.

What is wideth of the rod opening? on the valance?

Asked by: redhead
I believe it is one inch. I had 1/2 rods and had to go buy one inch so that the top of the curtain would stand up and not flop over.

What is the true length of these?

Are these really only 11" long? Or is that a typo? Because I can't believe they are that short, and they even look longer than that not only in penney's picture but also in the customer's photos.....
Asked by: spicer
I had mine shipped to Australia and they look great. I have just measured them from the very top to the lowest frill and they are 19" long.

How many are shown in picture

Does anyone know how many panels are actually used in the picture? Usually Penney's will state how many were used on the rod for the photo, but it doesn't say for this one.

The photo shows one valance.
