Rated 1 out of 5 by from Baggy Saggy Pants These pants are a great price, but the fit was awful. Looked like a belted sack. Very roomy. Space for two, perhaps?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from St. John's Bay Classic Fit - they fit! First of all I got them at their best price and they are a bargain at retail. I got them in an in between size (35" waist) which you just can't do anywhere else. They sit below my stomach, at what is now my natural waist, but they don't bag in the inseam, they are cut to be worn a little low. That's the way the Classic Fit...fits. They are somewhat casual but formal enough to wear for most occasions. They come out of the dryer ready to go. They are thicker and higher quality than what you would expect in this price range. They really are quite nice. Little things matter...The pockets are cut the way I like them. I like the angle on the front pockets, I can reach right in. The pockets are not overly deep, no search team required to find your spare change. The belt loops are large enough to accommodate a variety of belt sizes, not just the thin dress belts. I really can't find anything to complain about. I have pants from other retailers, I have some other styles from JCP, but I don't have a single pair a like more than these, period.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value I first bought a black pair in a store and tried to buy other colors but none were available. I later went on line to get two other pairs in navy and khaki. These seem to be one of the best values when compared to Dockers or others. Nice deep pockets and I like the inner details like the binding on the seams and waist band. One can always count on J C Penney for quality at a good price!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Something very weird about the shape. I did online ordering because my size and colors were not in stock. The pants arrived on time, still I was notified several days later. It was my first time online order, so I had a hard time fining the pick-up area. The employees for most part were courteous and helpful. Now the product:: It was a good fit. Still, the shape wasn't right. So I ended up returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tall and skinny My husband likes to get a 30X36 but in dress pants that is hard to find. I tried these in a 30X34 and they were plenty long enough. Fit and look great. He wore them to walk our daughter down the isle at her wedding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from the pants fit which is something i have a problem finding I have a problem finding pants that fit. 30 length is just a bit short and 32 length are too long It is rare to find 31 length. these are just a bit long but being cotton i figured that the would be just right after a few washing's.

It looks like the guide shows the pants run a little large. How much?
Do pleated pants run little larger than flat front?

Answer:
For the Classic Fit, yes, I think the pleated are a little larger than the flat front. I tried on both at the store and the pleated pants fit great and I was very uncomfortable in the flat fronts (waist ok, but too snug around the hips).

That said, I found Relaxed Fit and Comfort-Ease options available on the website, and the flat front style of these relaxed fit pants fit about the same as the pleated Classic Fit.

Answer:
Actually when my Husband tried these on they were just right in the waist but were waaay too long. I usually buy him a 34 length, as I did with this pair, and they were like a 36 length. He was stepping on the legs of the slacks. The fullness that the guide is talking about is where the pleats are in the front of the pants. It tends to run larger there but doesn't effect the waist size or length. Where in plain or flat front there is no fullness in that area. That is my experience with this style. I hope it helps as well as answer your question.
Ps the pleat fullness also gives the pants a bit more room in the seat.

Answer:
Yes, with the pleated fit. You will get a little extra room around the stomach area. The waist will probably be the same as the flat fit.

Answer:
Yes the pleated do run a little large in the leg and seat. The length on the other hand seems a little short..
