Rated 5 out of 5 by Duchess My husband loves them
I finally convinced my husband to try a "slim" jean. He has the build for it .. Once he tried them on he was convinced that a little spandex in jeans is a good thing. What a great fit, not tight, just looks attractive all over. When he tried other jeans that fit his waist, then the hips and thighs were baggy. He opted for the dark navy color which looks a little bit dressier.

I would have given five stars for these jeans. Unfortunately I wear a 30" waist with a 34" inseam. Lee does not make the combination that I need. Other than the length problem, I like the fit but I cannot wear what Lee is selling and that is a shame.
When Lee starts selling what I can wear I will be a big fan. I'm still a fan, I'm certain that my size is rather obscure so I understand.
For most guys Lee jeans would be great.
So yes I would recommend them. Thanks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Familyshopper not the style my husband wanted
My husband prefers a regular style jean in a slim cut. This was a modern fit. Had to return it for credit.

As a smaller, relatively slim individual, I am in constant search for pants that don't billow on me. I should add that I have been a long time Lee wearer. I was happy to see that Lee had developed a slimmer cut, as I had recently discovered and purchased several pairs of GAP slims, the fit of which I really like. I ordered two pair, one of which I kept, one of which I returned. As has been a problem I have had with Lee in the past, pants of the same size and style were inconsistently constructed. The leg on the pair I returned was significantly wider than on the pair I kept. Will I keep trying Lee slims? Not sure, as it costs me to return, whereas GAP pants, although more expensive, can be returned at a store. (I have not seen Lee slims at a store yet.) So in the end, I like the pair I kept, but was disappointed in the pair I returned. But again, with the same size/style, I don't see why this inconsistency should be happening.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BikerGee Can not iron
Again, I received a pair of jeans that after washing them, they were almost impossible to iron. I've bought several jeans online and it seems that 3 out of 5 pairs were cut badly, or cut on the bias. They were very difficult to iron. Instead of placing the jeans parallel on the board, I had to iron them perpendicular, the width of the board and it was still difficult.

Rated 5 out of 5 by chajmahal Stretchy fabric allows your to move
I've resisted the slim or skinny pants fashion trend for comfort. I'm a bigger guy and I like to wear oxford shirts and sport coats with dark jeans. The problem is I was wearing looser or relaxed jeans for comfort and fit but it didn't look right with the sport coats. The slimmer, straight legs looks better. So the Lee Modern jeans stretch and move with you while still maintaining the slim look. I don't have to cinch down my belt to keep them in place.

I own 2 pair of these in black and they're OK, so I thought I'd get another pair in blue, but the blue ones (of course) didn't fit the same. I just don't understand why something called "slim" has so much excess fabric in the hips. A guy with wide hips wouldn't buy "slim" pants would he? Even the slim tapered leg version looks wide in the hips in the photos. I'm going to try some from H&M instead.
