I bought these socks because they are thicker to pick up the slack in some shoes that run a little wide in the width. They seem to be very comfortable. I have had good results with Gold Toe long lasting quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rick The best socks I have found
These socks provide the most comfort and support I have found. They keep my feet warm and dry while providing for my calves. They wash well and wear very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Slim2u over-the-calf socks
These are the best over-the-calf socks I can find. They always fit well and last quite a long time. True to the nature of over-the-calf socks, they do not slide down after a long day of work. They remain in place. I highly recommend them.

Really like the fit and the no-slip off features. Also like the color markings, it is easy to match up socks after laundering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by want2trust The product style is exactly what I was looking for but quality issues have caused concern whether to purchase these in the future.
I wanted a true knee high quality sock and Gold Toe is the only brand I found that offers these attributes. I have been wearing this particular Gold Toe style of sock for 15+ years because it offers a slight compression fit. I was somewhat disappointed in this purchase because the knitting at the very top of the sock has changed (it's looser) and was frayed before I had worn them. Honestly, the main reasons I decided to keep them (6 pr.) was because I really needed new socks and didn't want the loss of wear time that the return process causes.
