I really need a non-binding sock or my ankles swell up and hurt. Regardless of the listing "non-binding" it still caused me pain.

I really recommend these socks for their perfect fit. Material is thin smooth, and cool just as I expected. Excellent for summertime. I used to wear metros which are also great. But Manhattan are just the best for me.

I prefer the Gold Toe fluffy cushioned sock. More comfortable, yet still dressy enough for work. I don't expect the Dress Manhattan to last very long.

My husband loves these socks, especially now that the blue ones have a blue stripe so that we can easily match them.

I buy Gold Toe socks almost exclusively. These were a little different, very thin. I now know what non-binding means...they slip down. These are far from a "crew" sock or the word has a different meaning.

These socks look good; feel good; and fit good. They don't cling to pants, which is good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by rogerx Not non-binding!
The top part of the sock still has a 1/2 to 1 inch tight spandex.
1) Simple conservative sock
1) Still not non-binding. Top of the sock has 1/2 to 1 inch tight spandex.
2) Very thin and the material does not absorb sweat.
Bought some Dr. Scholl's quarter and crew dress socks and find they're made of a thicker absorbant cotton and are truly non-binding!

These socks have very subtle patterns to them which makes them a little more modern while still looking professional with dress shoes & dress slacks. My husband wants more pairs of these socks in more colors for work.
