Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the Purchase! The 96% lycra/4% cotton Jockey - Pouch Brand are a fantastic fit! I'm sure, most guys wearing the "standard" style briefs, generally pull down the waistline, rather than to use the so called "built-in" fly. Furthermore, being left-handed, I've been wearing briefs (on & off) for over 58 years. Not once have I've ever found a pair of briefs where the vertical fly opens on the left-side! So by having the horizontal opening, above the pouch, I find it to be perfectly ideal! One thing to mention that I find important is, after several washes & drying, is that the 96% lycra with the 4% cotton blend last much longer than the Jockey Brand or any other brand that are made of 100% cotton. The only "negative" thing with regard to these particular Jockey Briefs is the regular price. I generally make it a point to either purchase a package or two with a coupon or when On Sale. I believe the regular price should be $14.99, not $21.00! At an average of $5.00 a pair in a package of three is a lot more reasonable rather than at an average price of $7.00 a pair! I hope more customers who also wear these style of briefs agree with me and put it in writing here. Hopefully, the J.C. Penney Company buyer would forward our comments to the Jockey Brand Company for them to consider in reducing their regular price to what I've suggested above. I would think by doing so, they may in actuality increase their sales!!! I recommend to any guy to give these briefs a try. There's a good chance, you may never go back wearing what you've been wearing before! One advantage is Jockey offers three different style "Front Pouch" briefs. I own all three styles. The mid thigh and over the thigh are a good fit in cooler/colder weather, as well as, under sport shorts. Of course, do keep in mind that both the mid thigh and over the thigh only come two(2) in a package, vs. the pouch briefs with three(3) in a package. Again, I ask Jockey to "drop-the-price" on a regular basis. I not only would be buying them more often for myself, but as gifts for my two adult, left-handed sons, too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best fitting undies I ever had These are the best fitting underwear I ever bought. Know your size before buying because I had to return the suggested size. The pouch design gives comfort and availability. I don't know how to fill in with 50 words to make this legal! I pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands one nation under God with liberty and justice for all. Phew I hope that's 50

Rated 5 out of 5 by from jcpenney to the rescue My husband loves the style and comfort of the jockey pouch brief. We have had difficulty recently trying to locate them. They were just unavailable. Fortunately for us, it was jcpenney to the rescue! We were able to purchase all that we wanted and received them very quickly. Thank you jcpenney!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from New sizing My husband has worn Jockey Classic Pouch Briefs for about 50 years in size 36. We were surprised to find these in small, medium and large. We couldn't find any place to find the inches on any of the sizes. He figured a 36 would be medium, so we ordered the 3 Pk. in medium. I opened them, washed and dried them and discovered they were much too small. In checking the material that came with it, we found that a medium is 32-34. We have nothing to do with them. We will probably put them in a sack of other things going to a humane society resell shop. What a loss of money for senior citizens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Awesome I never pictured myself as the kind of guy to rave about my underwear, but these are the most awesome things ever. I'd mostly worn boxers since college, but my son showed up at the gym in a pair of these one day and couldn't stop talking about how great they were. I bought a pack a couple of days later and will probably never go back to boxers again. My biggest complaint with briefs was always the useless opening in the front. The design of these puppies really works while eliminating the dangers of recoiling elastic! Other kinds of men's underwear would probably be obsolete if every guy wore a pair of these for a day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product; Great support For me comfort is the most important thing in underwear. The Jockey Pouch Briefs fit that requirement. They are soft and comfortable, overall, yet snug in the rear and leg openings. The pouch provides the well-supported yet necessary room where it is needed. The snugness of the leg openings hold everything in place so there is no need for adjustments during the day. The horizontal fly is placed at exactly the right spot for a comfortable and easy access when needed. These are perfect for the active, athletic type when those days call for extra support!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great function and construction The horizontal design is the best for access and the quality and fit are great. These are long lasting briefs but lately the cloth covering the elastic on the pouch seems to wearing out faster than the rest of the brief.
