Rated 4 out of 5 by Toka I love my Ninja
I bought the Ninja blender for juicing and I'm glad I did! This thing will pulverize anything you can throw into it. This is the best kitchen gadget I've bought in a long time and I'm so happy with it. Put in fresh apples, a little sugar and cinnimon and get the best applesauce you ever had. Some cucumber, carrots, celery, and apples make an awesome dip for wheat thin crackers. I use it ever morning to make a breakfast smoothy from milk, yogurt, fresh/frozen fruit, and some instant breakfast...yummy! It actually makes a smoothy smooth with no lumps. This is an awesome product to have in the kitchen! I only gave a "good" rating because, since I use it so much, the heavy plastic just doesn't look new like a glass one would. But it's not heavy like glass which makes it easier to clean. I'm glad I chose this product and would buy it again.

works great! i like the tall spiral blade that takes "blending" to a whole new level! no stopping to scrape the insides or pushing the tougher pieces downward to the blades! it made a smoothie in about 30 seconds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pmjazzy Best blender I ever had!!!
I love Ninja! My previous blender was the Ninja Master Prep and it was great but this 1000 watt blender is just the icing on the cake! Half the time to blend and my smoothies are creamy! Best purchase I've made in a long time!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by FlanQueen AMAZING!
After reading the fair review I was a little nervous to buy this product. But I decided to go on some other websites to read reviews and they were much better. Therefore I decided to purchase the Ninja Blender and I am so glad I did!!
I have had it for a month now and use it every morning to make a smoothie- it crushes the ice perfectly and breaks down all my fruits and veggies! I am extremely happy with this purchase and so glad I didn't go off the first review I read.
It really does turn ice into snow in seconds! My husband uses it almost every night to make milkshakes and he even loves it.
I have gone through several blenders in the years and this one is amazing!
It also makes the best magaritas! It has to be the blades that go all the way up the shaft of the blender!
It is a MUST buy if you are a smoothie, milk shake or frozen drink lover!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Shopeachday Meets expectations and simple to use
Purchased blender to make smoothies. Product meets expectations and provides excellent smoothies. Had to adjust to using less ingredients than with previous blender. Probably because Ninja blends everything smoothly (no lumps or unblended ingredients. The same ingredients used in previous blender resulted in more smoothy in the Ninja. I was surprised there were only 3 speeds, but found out I don't need any additional speeds and I don't have to blend the ingredients for that long, which is a definite plus. This product is easy to use and the locking top guards against accidents. Ninja is an excellent product and normally I would say the value is good because of the price, but I got it on sale and was able to use a Penney's coupon, which brought the price down further.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ErinU Could be a great blender if not for all the issues
I received this blender as a wedding gift and was initially thrilled with it. It blends things well but leaves a ton of pulp. The pitcher is not properly sealed and so food collects in the four corners and clear part of the handle. There is no way to remove it and it remains to rot. My first contact with Ninja was very positive and they immediately sent me a new pitcher free of charge. However, since receiving it in less than a month the same issue has recurred. The blender has become louder and louder and doesn't seem as if the blade is secure inside. I'm nervous to have it any higher than the lowest setting. Upon contacting Ninja again they refused to help except to tell me to call their customer service line. I was told that it is not possible for that to be happening because the replacement pitcher was a new design. Why would I want to make it up? I just want a blender that works properly. I was refused any contact information for a specific person. I was refused the option of returning it for a refund. I was again directed to customer service which I'm not sure what department I was speaking with if not customer service. I informed them that I would be calling the Better Business Bureau only to get the response "You're welcome. At the end of our chat session, you will be presented with a brief survey. As customer satisfaction is our top priority, feedback on your experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for choosing Ninja Have a great day." Obviously, Ninja knows there are issues with their products and customer satisfaction is not their top priority. Who wants to call every month for yet another issue?

Rated 2 out of 5 by dmperfection If you're easily fooled by gimmicks, this is your machine; if your looking for a kitchen worthy blender for serious cooking, this isn't it.
Yes, this machine will absolutely turn ice cubes into beautiful fluffy snow. However, the ridiculous design to have many blades means your contents will be splattering around the entire 72 oz pitcher, regardless of how much liquid or other items are in this thing. When I'm blending as part of my cooking, I like to have the blender run, open the top lid, add spices and additional items as it runs, and taste test until it's perfect. Unfortunately this design requires a locking lid - you do however, get a small pour spout opening to do your tinkering with spices and what not, but as I mentioned above, the contents are in such a continous splatter that opening the pour spout means you better be wearing some safety glasses and be ready to do some wiping down of counters, cabinets, and anything else that gets splashed on. If you plan on smoothies and crushing ice for margaritas, snow cones, or decide you want to make a pile of fluffy snow for a snow fight in the dead of summer - this is your machine!! If you plan to trully use this for cooking like I planned, you'd probably find it annoying stop, unlock, check, lock, restart, etc., etc. Needless to say, this is going back for and will go back to one of the tried and true Cuisinart, Oster, or KitchenAid.
