Rated 2 out of 5 by from great shoe if you're rarely on your feet I work in a kitchen meaning I'm on my feet all day and the floors are painfully hard to walk on. I've bought these shoes 3 times now as an "I need a new pair of shoes for work by tomorrow" emergency. They only last about 2 months on average before the bottoms of the shoes literally split in half, resulting in wet feet for the rest of the day if you walk on a wet floor. They're also less than comfortable and require separate insoles to be installed. It's actually laughable when you remove the paper thin insoles that come with the shoes. You can feel how thin the actual sole of the shoe is too before installing the new inserts, it helps to understand why you can feel every pebble you walk on. The only two reasons I continued buying these shoes another two times is because it was affordable compared to the legit brands costing three figures and they look sexy enough compared to the ugly blob clown shoes everyone else wears in a kitchen. However, for the sake of my poor nearly broken feet I'll be moving on to a different shoe... and brand all together.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Gave these shoes two attempts—walk away! I purchased these shoes on two separate occasions. I love how they look and fit—at first. After about 1-2 months the elastic in the shoes tongue begins to stretch out making the shoe fit much looser than before. And like clockwork, after about 5 months, the soles on both pair of shoes (both times) split near the ball of the foot. I’ve moved on to a higher quality of shoe. Even though this seems like a good deal, I’d pass! Spend a little more and you’ll get a better shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Shoes These are my husbands favorite shoes for work. This is the third pair he has gone through. I replace them about every two years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low price but poor value Although the leather and soles still looked good, after a couple of months of moderate wear, an approximately 4" section of the leather on the right side of the right shoe pulled away from the sole. JC Penney fortunately provided excellent customer service and took good care of me when I brought the problem to their attention. Instead of this product, I recommend Hush Puppies Leverage. I've owned several pair of them and, although more expensive, they hold up extremely well, making them a much better value. Feeling frugal at the time, I took a chance on the Nunn Bush product and won't make that mistake again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shoe with Value I found the price and design a good combination, light on the feet and good execution on the build quality. It fit fine at home, but it was a surprise when I started walking on them on the street. The shoe rubbed against the ankle bone, not terribly uncomfortable, but enough to notice. After a couple weeks, no longer an issue. I would definitely be cautious on buying shoes on line, but it's worth the effort if it meant finding the right shoes not available in store.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sizing off - they run really big I purchased these sight-unseen in my normal size of a 10 wide from JCP.com. When I put them on, they were too big so I went back to the store, returned them, and ordered a size smaller (9 1/2). After I picked them up, returned home and tried them on, they were still too big; so much so that I'm not even sure a size 9 would fit. Either my feet have an eating disorder that I have been unaware of for almost 40 years or they really messed up the sizing. I like the style of the shoe, but the image on JCP does not reflect how glossy and shinny they are. I wasn't expecting such a high level of shine from them; something that turned me off about the shoe. I have other Nunn Bush shoes in 10, so I'm not sure where or how they went wrong. I guess I'll stick with the feet losing weight theory since I lost 100+ pounds this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Purchase for husband My husband has a real hard time finding a shoe that is big enough and wide enough. These shoes have been great and he wants to purchase another pair. He has had trouble walking in the past and these shoes have really helped him.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shoe I have been wearing these for about a month now in work. They feel fine, and have good traction. They look nice in an office or formal environment.
