Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for smooties This blender works great for smoothies. We typically use frozen fruit, milk or almond milk, yogurt, then our add-ins include chia seeds, wheat germ, and peanut butter protein powder. It only takes around 30 seconds for it to blend evenly. We initially hesitated buying this blender because we read comments about it leaking. The only time it has leaked on us was when we first bought it, and didn't know how to portion out everything - I would blend it, take off the blade to add more milk, blend it again, and then yes the sides kinda leaked. But once you figure out how much of everything you need and get used to it, it doesn't leak (only if you keep taking the blade on/off). The blender is noisy, so if you have roommates or live in an apartment, it can be annoying. To fix this, we put a hot pad underneath the blender to absorb the noise and that seems to be working - no annoyed neighbors at 6am :) Overall, we love it and feel like our nutrition has improved since we are consuming more fruit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best thing in my kitchen! I've made fruit protein shakes and juiced vegetables for years in two separate machines because I wasn't able to use just one for all of my needs. I dreaded juicing vegetables because my juicer is so much work to clean plus juicing leafy greens, it takes ALOT of greens to get any juice but I need my greens for my health. PROS: Tackles leafy greens no problem whatsoever! They are fully blended Super super super easy to clean. This is the main reason I've slacked on blending/juicing...the cleanup. But the NutriBullet has made me stay consistent with my blending/juicing because it's so easy to clean. Quiet compared to my other blender, which I have since given away Takes up very little counter space Has weight to it, solid machine not cheap at all Sharp blades have been able to blend all fruits vegetables no problem Container seems small but it's able to fit a lot and blend a big serving CONS: Not one I'll never go without a NutriBullet ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make great smoothies I bought this a month or so ago and am using it for weight loss. I have not lost much as it has been the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, but neither have I gained. I fill it 1/3 to 1/2 full of frozen kale (buy it fresh and freeze it in it's own bag. Then I add frozen blueberries or strawberries, I/2 serving of chocolate or vanilla whey protein powder and almond milk as desired. I don't usually fill it clear up to the fill line. In about 40 seconds it makes a great smoothie. If I use fresh fruit, I add some ice. Somedays I also add a rounded tablespoon of no sugar added Plain Greek Yogurt or even 1/2 of an avocado. You can't even taste the greens. The secret to cleaning the bullet is to put about 2" of water in the dirty blender, add a drop of soap and blend for maybe 3-4 seconds. Rinse and drain. It's ready for the nest day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All I need... Got this for Christmas, started using it immediately for breakfast. Been eating a bowl of fruit for breakfast for years, so it was natural to put the fruit into this machine. Takes longer to load than just chipping bananas and pouring blueberries into a bowl, but it's quicker to swallow than to chew, so I'm saving about 5 minutes on my morning routine trying to get to work. So a big plus! Also, this machine is so simple to use. There are a ton of more complicated machines out there, but this one is ALL I need! I don't need a single other button to push or figure out how it works. This thing is simple, works, saves me time, the smoothies taste great to me, what else is there to say? The only way I could be disappointed in this thing is if it broke in the morning...then I'd just go get another one just like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game Changer The only thing I can complain about it that I didn't switch to a bullet sooner. I "tried" to do daily shakes before with my Ninja (which, don't get me wrong worked well) But I hated cleaning it, it took up a lot of room and was LOUD. Now I DO make a daily shake, it lives on my counter because it's so small, it's always clean. I guess honestly the only 2 draw backs are 1. to make multiple shakes for myself and my family I have to do them individually (but then again it also means they have to do their own sometimes) 2. I wish there was a way to have the shaker cups fit in my car cup holder. Otherwise I'm just insanely in love. I've had mine for almost 5 months and couldn't be happier. So much so I bought a second one for my mom's house so that when I visit I have one there to use :D PS I bought mine at Costco so the value is even BETTER!!! (I also purchased the extended warranty so I'm not worried about a thing as the customer service has been great so far when I've had questions and I lvoe that I can go on amazon and get extra everything) JUST GET ONE

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good while it lasted I bought a nutribullet pro, 13 months ago, on average I'd say we used it once a week and we were really happy until it started to smoke and over heat. and then it just stopped. Not happy as I thought we were getting a quality product. That would at least last a few years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I previously owned a Nutribullet and loved it. I tried to replace one of the extractor blade pieces when it finally wore out. The replacement was either way too expensive or did not fit the cups I had and had to be sent back. So I decide to buy a whole new unit from these guys. this one is basically just a blender. It no longer makes my drinks in 10 seconds.I use the same ingredients as before but the spinach or other greens take forever to blend in. I have to stop, stir, re-start, re-stir. I wanted anoth extractor, not another blender. Not worth the money

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Design Flaw Had my NutriBullet Prime for a couple of months. Two of the 32 oz cups are now broken because they get jammed in the unit and cannot be removed without breaking off the locking tabs. The rotation of the motor loosens the blade attachment and the separation of the cup from the blade locks the whole thing together and cannot be twisted to turn it off. The unit remains running until unplugged because the tabs are pressing the on-off switch. The cup is now wedged in the unit and must be broken to get it out. We assumed that the blade was not tight enough, but even when we tighten it as much as we can, it happened the second time. Now we can only use it by pressing down on the unit, but not locking the cup to the base. Clearly this is a major design flaw.
