Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for loose tea. I already owned one of these, and was looking to purchase two more as I have started investing more in loose leaf tea. The size is perfect for a pound of almost any tea. They do tend to hold odor. I thought the one I had would be unusable for anything else. But it was suggested to me to let it sit outside in the sun for a while to air out and that worked. It took about two weeks, but the smell did finally dissipate. (To be fair the tea I was storing, Lapsong Souchong, had been nicknamed Stinky Tea by various roommates.) This was also a problem with another food item I had been storing, lemongrass, in a different size container but that only took a few days in the sun before it was ready to use again. And in both cases I had used those containers repeatedly to store the same thing for a few years which is probably why the smell was so strong,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more bugs We have been having a problem with bugs getting into our dry goods, i.e. cereal, cornbread mix, flour, etc. This solves the problem. I also am storing rice and flour in the as well. Not to mention, our coffee stays a lot fresher, longer!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not the right size container I received 2 of these containers for Christmas and will be returning them. Flour packages haven't changed in 50 years or more. Why doesn't someone make a container that allows one to simply drop in the bag? Sugar packages have been down-sized; again, no container fits the whole bag dropped in. I did like the way the product sealed air-tight and contained no BPA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! A container I don't have to fight with! I totally love these containers. I have issues with my hands and find most containers hard to open and close but not these! I have had them for a few weeks and they seem to seal very well. I love that they are clear, you don't have to label them if you don't want to. I love how the lid comes apart for cleaning. Did I say I love these? Oh and they look very nice in the pantry. I am going to get more. Highly recommended!

Are the dimensions on the information inside or outside container dimensions?

I'm looking for a container to hold uncooked lasagna and am unsure of the size I need.
