Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fan runs constantly On the positive side, I love the convection baking because cookies come out perfectly. The cooling fan after baking is okay. Now the negative. When I bake breads and cake in the bake mode, the fan runs constantly as in convection mode. My breads will be very well done on the outside but not always baked through. Cakes will be the golden color but dried out, not moist like when baked in my old oven. The constant fan is working like the convection mode. I have not been happy with this. Also, the burners are not graduated heat. The elements under the ceramic top come on fully then shut down, on and shut down. It just comes on more on high and less on low. Why isn't it regulated from low to high with less to more heat. I am constantly burning food. When it's almost cooked the element turns bright red and is too hot. I absolutely hate the way the burners work. Does GE have another range that works like the old elements did from low heat to high heat??? Can these things be corrected or do I have to buy another range?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality product and nice appearance We bought this GE range a month ago and we like it overall. The flat surface looks really nice and easy to clean. The slant design of the front panel makes it easy to use and relatively harder to get soiled during cooking. The front heat venting system is nice with a running fan pushing the remaining heat out of the oven gradually after the use. The cooktop also includes a triple-ring cooking spot with a choice of the large, medium, or small heating ring to fit the size of the cooking pan. It is a really neat feature! We did encounter a little issue during installation. Our countertop is a little wider than the normal width, which makes it almost impossible for the range to be completely pushed all the way to the wall because there is a stop on each side of the range. We almost had to return the range due to this issue. Fortunately, we were able to find an easy and near perfect solution. However, we really wish GE would consider eliminating this stop feature in its future design. Overall, we really like our new range.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seems fancy but problems already I bought this range for our lake house, where I was building my dream kitchen. I got all new, high end appliances. I've had problems with this range from the first time I used it. The cooktop is very very hard to clean, even minor spills. And I am used to electric cooktops as I already have one that is much older but wipes off much better. Another problem is that the burners heat unevenly. And finally, I have used the oven about 10 times and each time the temperature on regular bake is cooler than the temperature I've put in. I tested it yesterday with an oven thermometer and it's 10 degrees cooler.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was exactly what I wanted. Had a cooktop and a built in oven. The oven wasn't as big as I wanted so we decided to purchase this and do a mini remodel. I LOVE this new slide in stove! ❤️

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like features and looks I have had this range for over 12 years in my previous home and loved it so much that I ordered it again for the home we were building. I knew it was a good quality range and had never had any problems with it. This new range looks the same and has the same feature but upon looking at it closely, both my husband and I notice there is an area under the glass on the front left burner that looks like a splotch under the glass and is a different color. At first I thought I could live with it ( we have been in the house about a month and I have used the range maybe 6 times ...obviously I don't cook much). I am very fussy about keeping the stovetop clean and polished, which makes this defective area even more obvious. I have tried to take a picture of it but it won't take on the dark, dotted surface. I have not yet contacted GE but that is my next step, so will update you on how they handle this issue. My advice is to look the range over VERY carefully upon delivery. However, this is hard to notice until you turn on the range hood light...then it is pretty obvious. I love this stove, but am saddened that I get a new one with a surface that is damaged more than the one I had for 12 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT! We replaced an old slide in range, it fit perfectly with no changes. My wife loves it and matches all our SS appliances. The best thing it works and looks great not like our old one. well worth the upgrade!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best range we've ever used or owned! Bought this in Slate. Replaced an older model other brand Glasstop with this prior to a kitchen backsplash install. I had resolved long ago that I was going to waste tons of time waiting for water to come to a boil. No electric stove I've ever used has EVER boiled water in a timely manner... until this stove! That front right burner is literally a DREAM!! LOVE IT!! Glass top isn't 'dainty' and cleaned up nicely after a pasta water spill. Make sure you have cerama bryte (we have always used this on our glasstops and porcelain sinks- it's a life saver)!! Stove slid into the opening beautifully (with some height adjustments via the feet) and leaves no gaps front or sides. Control knobs are sturdy and stainless to match the stove pull. Controls aren't easily bumped on and are easy to read & set. Control lock feature is available for those w kiddos. Clock and timer/cooktime are easily set. Hi and lo broil features make cooking oven bacon a breeze. In LOVE with the convection bake feature (first time owning an oven with this feature). Made cookies and bread at the same time and both came out perfectly on different racks! There is also a convection roast feature... haven't used that one yet. I like that the warming zone has 3 temperature options (lo, med, hi). Best of all: NO HOT SPOTS and always EVEN HEAT!! Never have owned a stove that did this well!! Oven's self clean and steam clean options are wonderful (first time I have actually had success using a self clean mode on any oven). Oven capacity is perfect for us too! We couldn't be more pleased!! Worth every single penny! We would buy again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stove I just had this stove installed yesterday and have only used it a little, but so far I love it. I love the warmer eye and I love the way I can use the 2 left eyes together for a griddle type pan for cooking pancakes and such. I love the look of this stove!

One of the reviewers mentioned a warming drawer. Does this range come with a warming drawer?

Asked by: Cindy
Hi Cindy- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We are excited to hear of your interest in our GE® 30" SLIDE-IN ELECTRIC CONVECTION RANGE JS750DFWW! It does not have a lower warming drawer. The range is equipped with a lower storage drawer perfect for storing your oven safe cookware. The oven features a Warm mode option. Warm mode is designed to keep hot food hot, it is not intended to heat cold food. To use this mode, press the Warm pad then press Start. Place food in the oven. Cover foods that need to remain moist and do not cover foods that should be crisp. Warm can be used for crisping crackers, chips or dry cereal. It is recommended, for food quality, that food not be kept warm for more than 2 hours. Keep in touch. We are always happy to help!
