Rated 4 out of 5 by from Additional options I really like this range. However, it would be nice if their was an optional piece to go around the edges to seal the small gap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from small change would make it 5-star We bought this to replace 20yr old smooth top. We like the option of convection oven and the 3 racks. The smooth top on this one is a very clean design. The 2 small elements that can be used together work great for the pancake griddle. The warming element comes in handy when making a big family dinner and not everything is ready at the same time; so you can keep something from cooling down. The most used element is the 3-in-1 element that has the large, medium, and small all integrated together. The one thing we would change would be the knobs. We bought this model because it is like our old one which had the knobs in front where you don't have to reach over hot water or grease to turn the knobs. What we dislike about these knobs is that they stick up above the levels of the glass surface; and we have occasionally hit the knob when pulling a pan off the stove. A knob without the tall center section would be an easy fix or a more flush knob design would make it 5-star.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good range The range is nice, but the gap filler strip does not work, if you have a counter top strip in the back of the cabinet opening. The supplied range strip is the same height as the stove and does NOT slide over the counter top strip in the back, but is even with it. The only way we could make the range fit in the space was to take the range strip off. On our old GE Profile range (gas model) the strip was up higher than the range and slid right over the counter strip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New Stove So far this product is great. It is a large improvement from our 20 year old coil top stove. I really like the new slate look. The glass top also cooks quickly and consistently. Although we've only used the oven a few times, so far it also works great. The overhanging cook-top also does a great job of keeping crumbs from falling down the side of the stove. My only negative would be the plastic element at the front where the controls are located. For such an expensive stove, It seems like some sort of metal housing would be more appropriate. Also, the rear of the cook-top doesn't quite make it to the wall which leaves a slight gap between the stove and backslash. I am going to do some research to see if there is an alternate closure piece to help finish this off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Returned to GE... Returned to a GE stove after having to replace 4yo stove of another brand! Married for almost 49 yrs, I've cooked/baked with a GE stove during 45 of those yrs. but learned a hard lesson by selecting another brand for our new home. I've loved using this new stove and because I like to bake, especially appreciate the oven and how my treasured recipes are now turning out the way they had in the past. The glass cook top, which overlaps the granite on both sides to prevent spills, etc from running through, is beautiful and easy to clean. I also appreciate the right front burner which gives me three different burner size options; the other feature I like is the "bridged" 8" left front and back burners which can also be used independently or with a griddle. New stove is a slide in front control, replacing a back control stove so we required the black strip to fill in the space against the back splash. I was very disappointed this strip is less than the size of the glass top, and therefore a very noticeable approx 1/4" gap on each side of the strip. If the black strip is modified to match the width of the overlapping glass top, please let me know. If it weren't for this, I would have definitely given this purchase 5 stars.
