Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the stove Just bought and had this installed. I love the double oven as it heats up quick and uses less energy for when I cook small batches. Love the two front power burners as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Oven- HORRIBLE LIGHTS This is our SECOND oven of the same model. The first had same electrical issues with OVEN LIGHTS as another reviewer stated, both top and bottom lights. After many service calls, it was finally replaced. This replacement oven's LIGHT BULBS, have now been replaced twice since August. That seems quite ridiculous, since most people will never even need to replace an oven light in 15 years. TWICE in 7 months tells us there's a problem with the electrical that has NOT been addressed by GE. As for the baking....... This is a really great oven, especially with the added convenience of being able to use double oven. Cooking in oven is even, be careful when using both racks in lower oven, rotate food halfway through cooking, because top rack with brown faster because it is closer to heating element. Stove top is great and you'll really never find a greater setup of burner sizes with flat racks, pans can easily slide to be moved around. Cleaning the surface is a little tricky. Even at its cleanest you still seek streaks from cleaning rags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love!! I've had this for about 4 months now and it's the greatest I can run 2 canners at once on the 2 front large burners. My extra large tub fits perfectly on the center 2 burners for water bath canning. Holiday meals are a breeze and I no longer have to use my second oven in the basement for them since I have the double oven. The lower oven is larger than my old single oven. Both heat up to above 500 degrees for pizzas. I got the center grate and the grill and the grill is great for a number of different things. My only complaint is where it vents. It vents right below the board where oven buttons and clock is so my microwave vent fan comes on all the time from the heat. I think if I had known it would vent there I would have chosen the slide in model but if you do just regular misc cooking and baking you won't have any issues. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone whether you cook or bake a lot or a little it's great!

Asked by: Maria
Hello Maria, I am happy to help. The lower oven is convection. The upper oven is not. Thank you for checking with us. Lisa from GE Appliances.
