Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool Stovetop Replaced a 22 Year old GE profile with this new model. Dropped right in, wired exactly the same. 5 times easier than assembling a grill. The wife loves it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install and looks great. I purchased this cooktop to replace anot 8 year old similar ceramic style cooktop that failed. Because I didn't want to have to cut/modify the granite counter tops, I had to find a cooktop that would fit. There were only a few choices and I picked this one (sight unseen...by pictures online only)because of the fit guarantee. I was very pleased with how it looks and the fit and ease of installation. I used it for the first time and the digital controls were easy to master, the power boil function does work. I like the built in timer and lock feature. I hope that it will not have issues like the previous cooktop and that it will last longer too. But time will tell. My initial experience has been positive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Cooktop New cook top looks beautiful in the kitchen. It has a sleek and smooth design. Touch controls are easy to manage and can be locked for cleaning. Love the built-in timer right on the cook top. Heating is good. As with anything new, we have to get used to how the controls, "control" the heating. Right now it seems that the response to turning the heat down is a little slow, but it does eventually get to the right temperature. Once the heat is at the right spot, cooking is perfect. Our old cook top had our most used element at only "high" and "off" and it is nice to have the ability to control the heating again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cooktop I bought this a couple of months ago after doing some research and customer reviews. I was not disappointed. This is great cooktop with the configuration of the burners perfect for my needs. The controls are easy to learn and use. The lock feature is great when I clean the cooktop. The timer is an extra bonus. I was still able to have drawers under my cooktop with some modifications to the drawers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pros and cons....... We recently purchased this cooktop to replace our GE Profile glass cooktop that we had for 16 years. First the pros, the burners on the new cooktop heat much quicker than our old cooktop. Also, it’s much easier to clean, especially with the lock feature that turns off all the burners and controls for cleaning. I’ve also enjoyed the cooktop timer which I didn’t think I’d really use at first. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros. At first I was excited that the new 30” design provides 5 burners. I’ve found, however, that it’s difficult to cook even with 3 pans when using a larger pan on the largest, middle burner. The attached photo shows how crowded the cook top gets (the flat bottom of the large, middle sauté pan is 9” and sits on the 9” burner, the bottom of the front right pan is 7” sitting on an 8” burner, and the back, left sauce pan is 6” sitting on the 7” burner). Also, while I initially enjoyed the touch controls, I am finding they’re not responsive when my fingers are damp or have oil on them. This has been a real inconvenience especially when I’m chopping and cooking, have to turn a burner down quickly, and there’s no response because there’s a little water on my fingers. Finally, I’ve only had the cooktop for two months and there’s already two chips on the side (see photo). My old cooktop edges were more rounded and it sat closer to the counter; I never had a problem with chipping. This new one has squared, beveled edges and doesn’t fit as close to the counter. My kitchen is filled with GE Profile appliances, but unfortunately I can't recommend this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth Cooktop - no knobs! Used about 2 months now. Had to be installed after new counter tops went in. Nice smooth surface, no knobs to get in way of pots or pans. However, must be careful not to put anything on cooktop unless you engage the "all off" control button which deactivates and locks out all burner controls. Otherwise, when you set a pan on a burner, the control will light up!
