Rated 2 out of 5 by from Misses the mark We bought two of these recliners. They are attractive, but not as comfortable as we had hoped. They do not recline fully, with the result that one tends to slide down in the chair when it reclines, leaving one's feet to dangle beyond the footrest. My experience with the chair left me wishing for more of a reclining angle. The vibrating massage functions work very well. There is a choice of pulse, intermittent, or continuous massage. I find the continuous helpful for my back. I was hoping the heat function would help with my back, too, but that was not to be. Our experience with the heat function was very disappointing. It does not work at all on one recliner and can barely be felt before turning off on the other recliner. From my personal experience, I would have to say that is unsatisfactory. Overall, our experience with the chairs finds that they are attractive pieces of furniture, so-so recliners with good vibrating massage, and unsatisfactory heat functions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Leather I got the power recliner. The leather is so supple. I'm not at all impressed by the massage feature as it is a bit lacking, jarring actually. I guess I've gotten too used to the pedicure chairs at the spa.Overall the chair is nice, don't hate it certainly don't love it though. For the price I paid I can't complain...too much. Ha!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The features of massage and heat are great with the exception of not receiving a manual for correct application of features of heat /massage. This recliner has met all that we expected accept for being a little confused on operation of features of massage/heat control. Would have been nice if there were a users manual that came along with recliner. My husband is happy with the chair because of comfort and size. Also a really nicely made recliner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smells real bad the chair has a awful smell...the heat is only in one spot on the back, gets too hot and has NO adjustment to lower it, just off/on. I have to wait till Jan 9th to have a rep come out and look at it before I can get it picked up. Its covered up to keep the smell at bay. Ordered chair Sept 21st just got it, what a BIG disappointment the whole ordeal has been.......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 great features we ordered 2 of these chairs for our living room. We chose a medium brown color to go with anything. The main reason we picked them is for the heat and massage. AND they were on sale for half price. So they were a great value...basically 2 for the price of one. They were made in less than a month and delivered on time and completely set up by the delivery guys ( who were very friendly and funny). All in all a great experience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor My wife an i both got one of these chairs. An we liked them at first, they where supportive an firm, but after a few weeks of use they started to sink in the sit an the foot rest got to where your feet would hurt. We where really not satisfied with them at all. we called JCPenney an we are returning them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice chair, power control very difficult to work. The chair is fine, however the heat/massage control is very, very difficult to work. I believe there is something wrong with it. I wish the recliner did not have to be soooo far from the wall. The chair feels like it floating out in the center of the room when upright.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Leather great, chair not so good At first when my chair arived it was awesome. The leather is very nice, so it looks great in the living room. easy to care for. The remote had damage.. all scraped up.. but i let that go. But a couple months after having it was sinking in and coming more uncomfortable. I planned on calling the complaint compartment at penneys but ended up in the hospital for 4 months. So here i am home again, the chair is uncomfortable, sunk to much, and the footstool never did go very high so if you tend to have feet the swell the footstool on this wont help much.

What kind of Massage is it, vibration or rollers, and is it adjustable?

I've had a Lazy-Boy for 15 years and it has vibrating massage and I love it I don't like the roller type, I could adjust both heat and massage, I need a new one and I'm hoping this will be the one but the answers matter a great deal before I buy!
Asked by: Ejarr
hello, the massage is vibration NOT rollers. Yes it is adjustable, you can adjust the speed and intensity. I really like this chair.
