Rated 4 out of 5 by from Drapes and darkens, but still allows light into the room. I wanted drapes for a bedroom to darken the room during the day and hopefully keep the room warmer at night. I am satisfied with these drapes as they are not stiff, but soft and lightweight and drape fairly nicely for the price. They darken the room somewhat during the day, but are definitely not blackout. Some light comes through and shows off the basketweave of the fabric. I have beige slat blinds behind them too. They have a sheen which I am not thrilled with, but it is not noticeable unless one gets close to them. I was going for a casual look. Before I hung them I sprayed them lightly with water and put them in the dryer on a low heat. Then I touched up them with an iron to remove the remaining wrinkles. They are lined with a white polyester fabric that looks like dress lining. I am unsure if they help with the warmth of the room as no one has slept in this room yet. The length of the three panels I put up all seemed to be the same and they were straight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! These curtain panels were exactly as pictured and described (I did look at them in the store first just to make sure before having to order online b/c the store doesn't stock 95" length). They washed well and work great for what I needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for My Bedroom Window The color, texture and feel of these panels are exactly what I wanted for my bedroom. These panels do have a white lining that help filter out the rising morning sun as it comes through the bedroom window in the morning. I was surprised to see that these curtains have two different looks depending on how they are hung on the rod -- if the tab loops are used, there a more pleated look at the top of the panels, if the rod pockets are used, there's more of a "scrunchy" look at the top. I tried both and decided on the scrunchy look which I think looks a bit more casual. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars for quality is that the material can snag pretty easily if you're not careful. Otherwise, these curtains are great. They were on sale and I was able to use coupon too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really like the curtains I purchased! The curtains are just what I was looking for to hang in my kitchen window. I love the waffle-like texture, the lightweight lining in the back and the fact that they're washable! The hidden tabs in the back for hanging are perfect - and I would recommend them to anyone! One last thing - I LOVED being able to come into Pennies to actually look at, feel and carefully select the curtains as opposed to trying to select something from online. Some things (like curtains) I cannot select online - I need to see them in person. Thank you sooooo much for having them available in your store:)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I am keeping them, but..... These are the flimsiest lined curtains I have ever bought. On a rod, stirred, they have the Shape of a worn out dishrag. BUT - the texture was good, the price was ok, and the color perfect. SO - I ironed them, starched them, and rehung them using rings and clips. Still not perfect, as the length added by the ring clips makes them a bit too long, but it's liveable. They look much better, and I no longer cringe every time I walk into the room. But buy them again - not a chance! First JCP purchase that has disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shade of blue I purchased these curtains but returned them due to the length. They were not right for my windows. I am now waiting on the longer length to arrive. They look real nice in the store -- this is a pleasant shade of blue and I like the green I saw in the store, too. There were some snags on the shorter curtains that I returned so I hope the longer ones are not like that. They are 50 inches wide which allows me to buy two panels for my window. Some stores have narrower panels and you end up buying four which will cost you what two of these do. The pattern on the fabric is nice and keeps it from looking plain since it is a solid color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product and pricing. These curtains perfectly fit the need for our guest bedroom. We needed to provide a bit more room darkening coverage for the windows. These curtains provide just the coverage we were looking for. I was looking for a particular sage green color in a 95" or 96" length and these curtains came in the perfect color and length. This curtain comes with a nice selection of colors to choose from. Very pleased with this product, quality and appearance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like the basket weave texture I was looking for more than a plain curtain and did not want a print. The basket weave texture gives the curtain a "little" something. I purchased the Caribou Brown. It's not too dark, the weave still allows some light to come through. I plan to purchase this same curtain, but different color, for another room.

I bought these curtains. Would they look ok on curtain rings? I don't know if they would be too heavy to look right.

Asked by: Cathy
I like how they look without curtain rings, but I'm sure if they were on rings they would look just as nice!
